I think it's Mike's most ambicious and superb work so far. He never stops surprising me.. There are only a few bands that really effect me in a very special and meaningful way and that will last forever, FNM is one of them, esp. when I beeen smoking weed, I quit years ago , but I feel FNM, esp, the music style on this album (king for a day) was made especially for pot smokers hihi. The verve is another band. Memories and feelings of those times I will hold forever, no matter what I become in the future or what becomes of the world. Peace and Love!

@diamondani I think you did just classify them, so therefore it's not impossible. Original and Amazing pretty much sums up their genre of music. This band although never overlooked by us fans, are certainly underrated by the music industry. They were about 10-15 years ahead of their time and it's why the music still holds up. There wil never be another FNM or Mike Patton. I had long hair and shaved sides with the lines in high school bec Mike was the coolest and still is.

Still, Patton being prolific gives him an unfair advantage. Also spanning genres too. I mean, he sings opera. Like, *beautifully*. He made a whole album using just his voice. He does voice overs in video games and you can't even tell it's him. He sings in a million bands and not only sounds different in each one, but uniquely gifted each different time as well.
