Lapworth is an excellent place to see the train as it is uphill and normally travelling at top speed, on this particular day the wind was carrying the sound much better than normal. There are two trips every Sunday during July and August from Birmingham to Stratford and the return trip is always at high speed on the main line - for full details go to vintagetrains co uk
