Plus, production quality goes down as the prices get cut. It's that simple, you wonder why you need to replace your PC every 2-3 years if you're a general customer. I know experienced PC owners can make machines last 4-6 years. But this was a general standpoint reference, not anything really serious or something to debate over. @Darkmaster406 The main reason companies use Windows is because companies usually only need computers for organization and grunt work, and while both machines are fully capable, Microsoft-running PC's are much cheaper. Video and graphics people tend to use Macs, and super-advanced functions, such as nuclear-simulations, don't use Mac or Windows, but pure code on VERY expensive systems. I have both a PC and a Mac, and love them both, but I generally have them for different reasons.

I guess that's what you call people that know how to troubleshoot problems on PCs like gradual slowing, lock-ups, viruses, malware, anti-virus programs that ultimately become part of the problem, etc, etc, etc. Keep in mind that a VAST majority of Mac owners today are LONGTIME PC users that have finally had enough. The only people that are in the dark are PC users that refuse to take a look at a Mac, not the other way around. BTW I know technology and computers.

I clearly stated that Windows was DESIGNED FOR POWER USERS, not, that all Windows PC users are power users. Yes, I am quite aware that a large portion of Mac users are longtime PC users. Mac's are alot more expensive and only lazy idiots who want to click the mouse once buy them.

PC's while operating properly are very powerful and useful for many things. But I'm tired of replacing components and troubleshooting. And its all in a different language over on a mac so I have a lot of learning to do but its worth it to avoid all the problems PC has. Keep arguing, you may turn more people to mac.

Steve Jobs must have gotten tired of using his own DOS based PC and decided to simplify the common PC. The result was the Macintosh, which I still think some of the SE/30's are still used as servers in a few parts of the world today.
