How do you learn flying? I have a T-Rex 450 with FPV (Camera, Tx, Fatshark) but I have the Problem to hold the Heli in the air. Its a problem to hold it in the vertical balance. Can you tell me the trick how you learned it? Thanks. Hubischubi.

very cool, doubt it's 5000 feet, more like 2000 if that. 1000 feet is pretty high and you get a decent view from that, check out google earth, at 5000 foot altitude and see how small the houses are , not perfect but decent comparison
when u frist started FPV was it hard the frist time?
did u take it up high n hover it? because i just got my Plug and Play 900Mhz 500mW Wireless System and my 7in LCD monitro am going to try this weekend just wanted to know if
how to do it!!
and also what the name of the song that u have on here??
nice video am going to start flying FPV just waiting on my older to come in "my question is will my Ar6100 v1.6 work for a mile too"? i have a dx6i on a trex500..
Haha, nope! I'm not sure most folks realize that the entire trip down was at terminal velocity, I was descending as fast as possible. The nose of my heli was pointed straight at the ground. My flight timer went off and I was still 3-min from the ground in free-fall. I was very close to a dead battery and a neat crash!
have you tried fishing for your copter at the bottom of the lake? drop some bottom lures and see if you could snag it? wheres it at i will recover it, i want a FPV working or not! lol....
How do you get on with the patch antenna on your 2.4ghz rc tx ?
Also I now have the headplay goggles as well but am suffering a little with the settings as the picture always seems to bright and I cant get the brightness or contrast to go low enough.
Hi ,nice vid and great altitude as well. Just wondering how you get on with flight times and do you fly with an agressive throttel curve. Ive got a very simalar setup as yours with Headplay goggles and video downlink 1000mw. Any info on throttel curve and pitch curve would be great.
My aggressive flying is done on a seperate heli from the mild and smooth flying. Use Trueblood red or green head dampeners, this will make a HUGE difference. Get your blade tracking PERFECT, or you will have unpredictable vibration at different speeds and attitudes. My flight times are 6-min and I typically use only 50-60% of my 2200mah battery capacity. I keep this extra cushon for when it takes me 3-4 min to land in high winds! See the vid 1-mile up!
Love your videos. Id love to see a beginners guide to FPV or just some more info about the kit your using and how to get into it. Keep up the good work.
that was great! one hell of a long way down!!!

Cool video - do you not get air sick with all that spinning on the goggles?
Is that an extra boosted antena on the TX - I see an extra cable coming out the top of the dx7 - I think?
