Both Pumpkinhead and Alien were made by Stan Winston, that is why they look so similar :P

@AlmaAubreyNight the Alien wasnt designed by Stan Winston, The design was a creation though of by H G Giger for 1979 movie and he also created the suit also for that film Stan Winston had nothing to do with the first alien film at all but Stan Winston was then took on for the second movie "Aliens" in the 80s he then created the suits and with James Cameron's helped created the alien queen...
