I use Malwarebytes for removing nasties off machines all the time, but I've never tried the full defense version. The latest is v.141. There always new malware coming out and any scanner is bound to miss some of the newest ones. HIPS programs are the future imho.

As on 5/29/09, MBAM v. 1.37 has been released with a 64-bit protection module that completely rocks.... update it now!!!

Now remember, people... he's using v 1.31; the recent version is currently v 1.36, so apparently (and hopefully) he got every malware out of his PC. I still highly recommend this software; it's definitely very useful!

After running Malwarebytes run SuperAntiSpyware or Spybot to make sure all the traces are gone, just incase it didn't remove all of the files.

Malwarebytes' developed a program specifically for Rogue malware called Rogue Remover Pro.

I don't think m-bam is an all-in-one program, if you want Rogue malware protection you need Rogue Remover Pro.

MBAM+SAS is my backup for KAV.

that's the perfect protection and i also have defense wall. KAV and DW run together for realtime and MBAM and SAS are just used for removing stuff with ease. nice vid. man
