  • Well, Steve Bolton will never be my favourite guitarist, but Ric Parnell and Vincent are fabulous.

  • Hey, its Mick Shrimpton on drums! I'm waiting for him to explode.

  • One of my top Hammond driven bands.

    Vincent Crane was astonishing. R.I.P.

  • The drummer came from the band Horse. Made one album on RCA in 1970..

  • OK, So is that Palmer on drums?

  • @BCRSIX yeah

  • @BCRSIX no its rick parnell

  • Atomic Rooster were at the cusp of live video recording on these videos ,the sound and live musical energy were great,...The keyboard player was a musical force,

  • Great Hammond jam...unique and excellent group!!! 70s at its best!!!!

  • What an outro. Those last 15 seconds are powerful.

  • Definitivamente estan a la altura de Deep Purple, Black Sabbath o Led Zeppelin

  • This is a killer instrumental! Please send it to my email?!!!!

  • Vincent Crane kicks ass!!!!!

  • I remember seeing them a couple of times at the BLACK SWAN ( MUCKY DUCK) as it was affectionately known in Sheffield, great times! they were amazing

  • @1.48 "let's turn this shite heavy mates!"

  • this song rocks!!!!!

  • aa tocaban genial

estos grupos no solo hacian musica

simple si no que en un modo

transmitian algo atra vez de ella

y eso es genial es lo que le hace

    falta a muchas bandas nuevas

  • I love Atomic Rooster - all lineups. Ric's dad has just passed away, an amazing drummer, no wonder RJ is such an amazing drummer just take a look at his old man!

  • and there...slowly was born the feel of metal

  • My God! Vincent Crane moves like Dr. Teeth!

  • wow, the live version is even more amazing. crane's solo was pure bliss.

  • It looks cool how you can't really see the pick-up on the guitar.

  • Steve Bolton fucks up a bit in 4:12 but still he did a great job

  • this band rules!!!

  • The guy is not bad but I prefer John DuCann.

  • this one is from Death Walks Behind You - superb album - buy it

  • elp who? atomic rooster was alive and well and had carl palmer as an original member in the begining. well before elp.... r.i.p. vincent crane.

  • ¡¡¡¡Excelente ejecución de Vicent!!!.Ese Hammond suena a gloria c.s.m.

  • the original song was realesed with jhon ducan m but bolton done great job , thanks you frankie ruiz for share this musical gem

  • Ooh! Great video!! Vincent was genious. Emerson is also great but totally different player. More classical. Vincent is always playing notes tfrom the darker side.... `Im/

  • no not so much, just listen to pictures at an exhibition.very dark stuff

  • Vincent Crane? You just have to marvel.. the best!

  • Wow, great video! Great stuff! Vincent was amazing!! Although Keith Emerson was a big inspiration when I was a kid, I always thought he got too much attention from throwing around that poor little L-100 spinet on stage and stabbing it with knives ...I don't know how many times I had to tell people it was just a stripped down Spinet he threw around and not a big Console B-3...which again was wrong because he played a C-3 usually. Same organ, different Cabinet.

  • I never listened to this band after Carl Palmer left , but Vincent Crane sure sounds like Emerson in spots-amazing!

  • @heyazzhole Yeah....how cool is that !!

  • Wish I could have a pair of headphones with this song coming out of one side and Lazy by Deep Purple being piped through the other side! ! !

  • Or better yet, a quadraphonic version of this song on the front left channel, Lazy on the right channel, Rondo a la Turk by the Nice on the right back channel, and the middle of Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf on the back left channel. They sure put out a lot of great music in the 60s and 70s.

  • To marcfedak: You better watch out replying to my innocent little comment---I see it drew 4 negative responses for some reason. I'm not sure if they were from 4 unimaginative assholes or just 1 asshole and 3 lemmings. Very defensive, these Brits, about their fallen rock and roll heroes. Any comments that don't praise and lament the coming and going of yesterday's legends don't go over well on some song sites. You may even receive a few death threats for throwing Goldie McJohn in there!

  • R.I.P. Vincent, my incredible talented friend, know you are not forgotten as the BEST exponent of the Hammond EVER !!

  • Que buena banda gracias v iejo pro esta elocuencia de rock progresivo de los 70.

  • This jam got me hooked on the Hammond for life !!!!. Classic Atomic Rooster...Vincent Crane Rules !!!!!

  • @crankerny check out Cannabis India, Eden Rose and London Underground's last album for similar hammond jams

  • Excellent, perfect!!!

Here we are, remenbering this amazing song, lost in the 70's...

    Thanks...

  • im stoned, and im enjoying this shit!!

    fucking awesomesss!!!

  • now i am jonesing, damn you!!!

    haha

  • Thanks for posting frankie, this is some great stuff. Man its been so long since ive heard these guys, most people didnt or even know this band existed. VERY COOL DUDE

  • That would be Mick Bolton on guitar

  • Mick Bolton of UFO?

  • mick bolton played with the likes of bowie right? kind of a session player like Rick Derringer. i guess i could wiki this one. this is one damn fine band.

  • nope.

if this is from 1972, then it would be the "made in england" lineup (without farlowe on vox, of course):

    vincent crane - organ

    rick parnell - drums

    steve bolton - guitar

(and no, certainly NOT mick bolton!)

    hope this helps ;-)

  • Excellent!!!

  • Parabéns pela postagem do vídeo. A qualidade dele é excelente!!

  • This is the 'Made In England' lineup with Chris Farlowe vocals 1973 is when the LP came out.

  • A lo mejor esta canción en un bonus en aquel Lp, ya que es del album Death Walks Behind You de 1970, es cierto que estuvo Farlowe en esta sessión pero no participó en este tema.

  • But this isn't The Rock. It is VUG from Death Walks Behind You.

  • And it's neither Paul Hammond on the drums nor John DuCann on the guitar. Must be the next line-up.

  • Tenías razón lo voy a corregir.

  • A ja nie wiem o czym Ty pierniczysz człowieku.
