Well, the experts being filmed have their hands full executing tricks which isn't promising. My take: The form factor is an issue- this thing doesn't have the surface area necessary to achieve the level of control required for enjoyability. I can't believe this is getting so many positive reviews, people are incredibly gullible. I give 0/10.

@TimToastbrot98 Ambition all the way man. They are the best snowskate on the market for the price. Plastic snowskates are limited to what they can do. i have a premier and my buddy has got one of these, all it took was one ride on an Ambition and im switching over this season.

@imbetterthanUbtch That was an issue we had 3 years ago because Alex was making them by hand in his shed. Sales boomed that winter way beyond what we were expecting and he simply couldn't keep up. Not an issue anymore as we have them manufactured at a plant in Quebec.

@Ramdakanak it depends. on a snowskate i can do 360 shuvs and inward heels but not on a normal skateboard. some things can be easier and some things more difficult.

this so stupid. you could buy a skateboard for 60 dollars, maybe cheaper. then, just buy some grippy foam material for the grip tape and boom, got yourself a snowskateboard. so you save like 50 dollars from one of thes boards. just saying.....

@sumasalts2xxx i agree.. but ambitions are still better than only "skateboard decks" but one thing is bad the bottom on the down on ambition boards scratch very easily, and its only "board" so it does not have anything special on it and its like 130...:( i say ridiculous price...

@santacruzer97 dude, I was in the ski slopes with my friend and with ambition snowskates, and all the people looked at us and they wonder "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!" and I say snowskate, and they thought we were crazy and it's embarrassing... because its only "board" no metal edges or any other special... and need to use shoe leash because they require them... so its "NICE" i say its SUCKS!..

@megachecki Ambition supports snowskating by supporting the riders and making these videos to promote the sport. A company like premier does none of these things. Ambitions are the best on the market and you get what you pay for. It will last you for years. Save some money and buy an ambition, you get what you pay for. A premier will go slow, break and be a waste of 80 dollars.

You can remove your Skateboard Trucks, problem is that your skateboard has the shape of a bowl instead of just a flat board, like a snowboard. Which in fact making it way more difficult to ride it, and i know this shit 'cause i've been riding all day today :)

Indeed, keeping your balance is just impossible, and keep in mind i ride Flatland, so my balance is pretty good :p But these things are so expensive... I live in a country where there isn't this much snow, even not every year, so that's why :p

The fine thing of snowskating is that you can make ramps/quarter pipes or some like that of your own style and ideas from the snow. Its really creative and stylish.

For me Snowskating is more than Skating that you can make your own foundations. You know snow is cheap!

I never said I got a bad snowskate.. I got a snowskate in tree not plastic n pretty much like the ambition snowskates. But it makes it hard to do kickflips n heelflips n stuff like that when it's not any curve on the sides. not the nose n tail but the side curves.

Does the Ambition snowskate got sides that you slide on? Cause mine is just flat with nose n tail ..

@ZxCrazyKid That doesn't really make any difference, unless you are very small. Also, maybe doing tricks with speed is maybe hard because you have a cheap snowskate that has a very bad nose/tail shape. Whatever your height is you should not have any diffuclty putting your feet on the tip of the tail with a snowskate that is well built. I don't understand what you mean by sides... @arniebro100 Well they were probably riding crappy plastic snowskates... Hence why they thought it was so hard. Obviously the first few times you'll have to adapt but I feel snowskating is easier than skateboarding when you have a board that works!

@BluePeaSkateCo Not at all. They are easy to flip, pretty much like a skateboard. Actually I can do more flip tricks on a snowskate than a skateboard. As far as shoes you'll be better off using skate shoes if you have X-treme grip but boots if you're riding foam grip.

@harmpje101 Really depends on how you use it. A snowskate will not snap or whatever, it's durability is more in the base slowing down. If you ride intelligently (you put snow on your runups and landings and don't slide on pavement and rocks) it will last you a long time.
