@andresdz19 This is an earlier Boatloader, try htcdev.com to see if they will unlock this for you, if not unrevoke was the method that was used on this originally.

@surmiklo13 Not a Problem, the SU file can be downloaded from description box. Move this file onto your SD card phone and boot back to HB screen by holding power and vol down same time til white screen comes up, scroll by using vol keys to recovery and power button to select. select install zip from sd and navigate to the file moved to sd card then select again and select yes to flash it. Let me know if anything else..
@jalisquillo829 Yes this is the latest from couple months ago, and can root your 2.16 and 2.15 bootloader dont matter what version. Boot to HB Screen to find out which one you using, by hold power and vol down to get there, but shutdown phone completely disable fast boot too.
@MrTekn010933 I did what you and @hiaxel did and my phone was recognized... I entered the beta key succesfully but the it failed to root my phone =( It is an HTC thunderbolt with the 2.11.605.9 update. PLEASE HELP... any other program that can boot me? thanks
@causa04 what did it say? usb debug on, firewall down temp, virus softwre off temp, HTC sync just remove you don't need it, retry it please. I did numerous models and device that are supported, not all worked the first time but it will root when minor steps are performed. TBolt had to do it like 2 times and I always copy and paste the key, hope this clear things up let me know how it goes..
@MrTekn010933 I did that. USB debug on, PC firewall, antivirus and antispyware down, I dont know how to remove HTC sync of phone, but I know i dont have it on my laptop. It says that key was ok but when it was doing the process, it saids that couldnt root my phone. And I run the revolutionary software as administrator. I tried like 5 times... and the website would generate the same key all the time. I guess i will wait until some other guys have done it with the lastest update on the phone.

@xoxoxoMEful Is usb debugging enabled? settings>apps>develop> and virus and firewall drop it temporarily, and try again. make sure to copy n paste beta key on "notepad" to paste in dos(CMD) click on top left corner on ICON(cmd) menu drops down go edit and paste it.
Worked great on my EVO 4g! One note, if revolutionary doesn't see your phone, try launching the htc driver installation again and have it do a repair. As soon as i did the repair, my phone popped up in the revolutionary window.

Back up your stock settings in the recovery menu now would be a great idea, and if you see in my collection will be able to find numerous custom ROM's and more coming. In this case flashing different ones and do not work well with you, can always refer to your back, I do have a video in here that show's how to backup from clockwork recovery which is the current one your on now.

@andresdz19 boot HBoot screen, volume down and power button the same time will take you there and read the info on the top should ready Revolutionary? If you have the SU file in the sd card then goto recovery that was loaded during the installation of removing S-ON and flash SU(SuperUser) from the recovery menu. I have other videos show how to do so, I have class in an hour and will check back with you after, You are ROOTed but super user intstalled will give permissions for rooted apps and all.
ok i have gotten to the point of downloaded all the files needed, getting my beta # from the s/n , unzipping the files , removing the check from fast boot opcion and allowed usb debugging. i open revolution and all i get is waiting for device on the screen . nothing happens , can u tell me if im missing anything or doing anything wrong , thanx
@andresdz19 ok great! is your device on the home screen? and your usb cable sometimes shows charging but cannot transmitt data from faulty connection between comp and machine, secure the usb and rerun operation. your almost done, think it's just a minor issue and you have done everything I see correctly.
don't forget disable firewall(temp) and Virus software too, good job and let me know how it went please..

@DgenereX Check with metro, give them the esn number to validate if it's going to work on there network. Someone tried to buy a phone of me and called metro first and they validated the esn number and it worked. But your case is slightly different but similarity in a way that it might work! @MrTekn010933 Well, I went to Metro store today and they told me that they dont work with the ESN anymore, now they activate the phone with the MEID (I'm not sure if that is what he said) and it doesnt show n Metro stock, and when I asked why dont try doing the MetroFlash with Houdini (to convert the MEID into Metro Stock) he said that their Houdini is not working and try looking a diferent metro store. Same History with 3 different metro store, so now i dont know what to do.

Hey, I got the beta key, but when i enter it into the program it says it's invalid. I tried like six times, the first time all lower case letters, and then i entered it exactly how it was. WTF am i doing wrong here? oh and also i'm rooting a DInc 2, i don't know if that makes any difference......

ok so i got past that part, i think i might have gotten off track and rebooted when im on the screen with the little green andriods... can i somehow start from scratch ? becuase the phone turns on and looks the same as before i did anything to it.. though when i connect it to the revolution program it tells me that already s-off... let me know what i should do

@andresdz19 boot HBoot screen, volume down and power button the same time will take you there and read the info on the top should ready Revolutionary? If you have the SU file in the sd card then goto recovery that was loaded during the installation of removing S-ON and flash SU(SuperUser) from the recovery menu. I have other videos show how to do so, I have class in an hour and will check back with you after, You are ROOTed but super user intstalled will give permissions for rooted apps and all.

ok i have gotten to the point of downloaded all the files needed, getting my beta # from the s/n , unzipping the files , removing the check from fast boot opcion and allowed usb debugging. i open revolution and all i get is waiting for device on the screen . nothing happens , can u tell me if im missing anything or doing anything wrong , thanx

@andresdz19 ok great! is your device on the home screen? and your usb cable sometimes shows charging but cannot transmitt data from faulty connection between comp and machine, secure the usb and rerun operation. your almost done, think it's just a minor issue and you have done everything I see correctly.
don't forget disable firewall(temp) and Virus software too, good job and let me know how it went please..

Apologies if may sound rude but that's what and how we look at unlocking or rooting devices, bootloader version's. vol down and power same time and see the HB screen and see what bootloader version u have? if you device listed on the "supported devices" then head over to the site in the d-box and see if your version of the BLoader is offered, copy beta if presented.

Now..., Am I gonna be able to activate it with metro even with the bad ESN??? if not, is there a way to do it or fix it???

@DgenereX Check with metro, give them the esn number to validate if it's going to work on there network. Someone tried to buy a phone of me and called metro first and they validated the esn number and it worked. But your case is slightly different but similarity in a way that it might work! @MrTekn010933 Well, I went to Metro store today and they told me that they dont work with the ESN anymore, now they activate the phone with the MEID (I'm not sure if that is what he said) and it doesnt show n Metro stock, and when I asked why dont try doing the MetroFlash with Houdini (to convert the MEID into Metro Stock) he said that their Houdini is not working and try looking a diferent metro store. Same History with 3 different metro store, so now i dont know what to do.

Hey, I got the beta key, but when i enter it into the program it says it's invalid. I tried like six times, the first time all lower case letters, and then i entered it exactly how it was. WTF am i doing wrong here? oh and also i'm rooting a DInc 2, i don't know if that makes any difference......
