@Victoriam4074 it is wild garlic here. To me, it smells like an strong onion but others might think it smells like garlic. Virginia Tech Weed Identification Guide says it can smell like an onion or garlic.

i use to pick these all the time my mother is native american and my grandmother use to take me around and show me all the wild plants you could use but alot of the wild berry's were infected with british mites so you cant eat them any more wild grapes onions garlic honey suckle strawberry flower a little pink flower with a root that tast like strawberry's and alot of other stuff
ERM Wild garlic smells like garlic not onions, and also has bigger leaves...in scotland anyway...I am wondering if you have got Babingtons leek?

there's a bug mite that came over from europe that eats wild berry's and if you eat them it would kill you
