Did you go to the States for your surgery or did you get it through the Canadian health care system. I know some Canadians that love the system there and others that hate it. Personally, I believe the Canadian system killed my uncle. He lived in Barrie and had a heart condition that went undiagnosed for over 10 years. Fortunately he had his heart attack while visiting my mother in California and had a great bypass surgery here. He just couldn't survive many more years after all the neglect.
Nice to meet you Calvin...you have a mellow demeanor and seem like a very cool person. I'm in IT...and I bet you have quite a bit of skill there with all the youtube video/editing work you do. Entry level help desk/support can lead into system administration and a decent occupation...glad to see your surgery went well and hope the best for you in your future. Keep flippin'
Hey buddy! I had surgery on my neck two years ago. Before, I couldn't move my head at all. I have a titanium plate and a plastic spacer where the cartilage used to be. I still have a little limited mobility with it. Enough about all of that. I hope you are doing well with yours. I found your channel through cutlerylover and thought I would check it out. @CalviNNation Yeah it was pretty tough. I was hooked on pain meds myself. I weened myself off of them. That was the worst. Hardly any sleep, I flipped out at a lot of people easily, and other things. Try to get off them if/when you can. I wasn't on anything quite as strong as what you are on, but it is the whole painkiller addiction. I feel your pain, man. I was a little older than you when I had my surgery. I am 30 now. Yeah, it was through related videos. Take care, man.

I've become a big fan of your videos ever since discovering your channel -- your balisong tutorials in particular. I've been a bit of a slow learner when it comes to flipping, so having quality tutorials there when I feel like learning something new helps me out substantially. Of course, I enjoy your other stuff, too.

Good luck with the surgery man, and I can relate to you a lot, I work remodeling, landscaping, and per deim fire fighter, as well as a full time college student, even if I don't want to be right now. I am hoping to become a career fire fighter someday, but everyone always tells me I need to go to college and they are right. The trick is taking classes you enjoy which is what I have recently learned.

Hope your surgery goes well, I know I was worried when I had to get surgery on my kidney, they were taking a few very small pieces(the size of a piece of lead) of it to run some tests. And It was a very minor operation, although I was still nervous about it. Your Surgery sounds alot more serious, and you seem very mellow about it, so I how it goes all as planned, and you'll be better in no time.

Hope your surgery goes well, I know I was worried when I had to get surgery on my kidney, they were taking a few very small pieces(the size of a piece of lead) of it to run some tests. And It was a very minor operation, although I was still nervous about it. Your Surgery sounds alot more serious, and you seem very mellow about it, so I how it goes all as planned, and you'll be better in no time.
