  • I'm becoming a huge steel pan fan! Electronicsteelpan, I think you have revolutionized Island Music; it was wonderful, happy music before, but now it's an entire Island Music Orchestra!

  • but i like hitting the drum and having it vibrate. I thought that is why you play it... It is a neat toy though.

  • must be so much fun

  • Oh I love this makes me smile well played

  • @tonyonetime me too

  • I thought it was going to be Monkey Island theme.

  • so NICE, but you don't look like Bob Marley

  • so NICE, but you don't look like Bob Marley

  • @kucarkacirkids ahaha lol

  • Reggae? very impressive ! i like it

  • as the song is called????

  • @rickyeguia

    footpints T.O.K

  • By the way, great playing!!!

  • nice man!

  • I believe the description is saying that this instrument is set up in such a way, that it plays just like the original. Some electronic versions require a different playstyle to create the desired notes that would be easily created on an original instrument.

  • impressive...very impressive

  • *Reads description* So ya saying musicians/artists no longer need any skill or hard work by getting to know the instruments true nature and how it sounds without being recorded?

  • @YahwehBenYahweh I DO NOT KNOW WHERE YOU GET THAT.....BECAUSE I DID NOT SAY WHAT YOU DID PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND SOME MORE.

  • @YahwehBenYahweh i must have missed the part that said no skill required. dont hate technology just cuz you dont understand it.

and good job on the song by the way. i think this hater might be a little jealous

  • @YahwehBenYahweh Welcome to the world of music! You must be new here.

All that instruments like this is give competent players more options - they won't "cover up" for poor players and make them sound like they're competent, they'll just make good players able to do more with their instruments.

  • @YahwehBenYahweh Ethnomusicologists have argued the differences between electronic and acoustic instruments, there are various advantages and disadvantages. In the end, we all have a true preference.

  • @sonesh I think one of the biggest challenges of electronic music technician is to capture the true nuances of an acoustic instrument played by a professional. It is evolving, some day it will not be distinguishable for the trained ear.

  • @YahwehBenYahweh You, sir, are a moron.

  • is it velocity sensitive? (meaning can you hit louder and softer notes on it?)
