My son is almost 8 and he still does this as well :)

OMG! I love him! That's too cute! My son draws in the air while vocal stimming in extremely high pitch! lol I used to be aware of the people staring, but now, I laugh with him and join him!

I have assume this movemnet as a stimas he only does it when happy. I thought a tic could happen at any time? But thank you i will look into it.
tics can be triggered by excitement, agitation, frustration, boredom.
I often tic when happy because being rather bipolar, I'm easily over stimulated.
nice moves, why isn't this dance craze catching on? haha
