When I started on this solo I held my pick very hard. Later, I found out that holding it relaxed helps a lot. :D

Any tips on muting 2nd string when moving on to the 32nd notes? Palm is not very accurate for this speed. Use the thumb?

Hi, I would suggest there's too much picking going on here - making it harder to play than it actually is. Instead of picking every note, try to sweep pick the top two strings then hammer and pull off. That's how John Norum plays it and it's actually a whole lot faster and smoother sounding than the overly arpegiated sound the picking achieves. All the best!

auf der b saite 12 dann... hammer on e-saite 10-14-10 dann b saite 12 dann wider e-saite 10-14-10.....usw.
