@WarlockRabbit Well, first off Reach started to become popular and then people found ways to make it look bad, like finding areas where they cant die in matchmaking and just camp there so no one can kill them. Armor lock is another, they just use that to simply lower their opponents shield's down and punch them in the face.

I for one think that if Halo 4 ends up as the same result as reach then it wont last long, same goes for COD in some ways.

I remember reading something about Human Sympathizers, Elites who were impressed by Humanity's fighting spirit and respected them as fellow warriors. When the Schism came about, must have been plenty of Elite factions already questioning their Genocide. It's apparently a big part of Covenant culture, kicking the shit out of your enemy, then helping him up and calling him brother. The Hunters joined of their own will, mysteriously, but I think the rest were conquered.

Seeing a lot of discussion in the comments. Big Halo fan, read the novels and know a good deal about the backstory to the games. All I can say is, yes, the Covenant steamrolling right through Human space and literally leaving entire worlds reduced to glass for a Religious genocide is a fitting comparison to the Holocaust. I know the later games pussed out and had the Covies and Humans team up and make up way too easily, but the fact is, the Covenant slaughtered humanity in the billions. No mercy
