As an American who just listened to this singer, I can tell you that you should be extremely proud of this woman. Not only is it the most beautiful version of the song that I have ever heard, but that she sang it in English without missing a beat is nothing less than amazing!!! The Dutch people have many things to be proud of and this should be one of them. She is fantastic!

Als ik bijvoorbeeld zeg dat je een domme zeug bent dan bedoel ik dat niet letterlijk maar gebruik ik "domme zeug" als metafoor om aan te geven hoe dom je bent... "Climb Every Mountain" heeft niets met bergbeklimmen te maken maar met het bereiken van doelen in je leven en geloven in jezelf. Jouw "Mountain" zou bijvoorbeeld kunnen zijn dat je leert nadenken voordat je een reactie plaatst...

@Jacc0s I agree with you about Christina's voice. Power and range alone does not make a singer great however. You can distort a song with power and literally destroy the meter to the song holding notes--which I have heard great singers like Streisand and Aguilera do. All of Chistina's runs make the melody incoherent. This is just my opinion that she shows off, but I have heard her literally grunt while singing The Star Spangled Banner. She could be the greatest ever, this is a shame.

There's one thing nikki where you don't have to worry about because all four of us sat and sit here now with tears in our eyes because if you know how to transmit something like that and you have such a emotion at such a song then it is all the more difficult.

The slip at the end was the only slip-up in the piece but that determines nothing because there is so much feeling in the song that only makes it better.
