that is weak ! if it cant go in the dark more then 50 feet its no good what you need to look in the can goods !? use a sony cam corder and get real distance with the night shot and have a picture you can watch on TV not a 480 on a pc its time to start making something we can use ! if you had a illumination that would light up the whole back yard and 100 feet on that then it would be handy
i need t know if this thing can have extra night vision a.k.a IR lights on it ok let me know

I went to Amazon.com to buy ours. Think Geek may also have some. I added a IR flashlight which gives the camera a 100 foot range.
