Takes me back to the days when most Parish Churches had a good choir.

Did I or did I not see the face of the dreadful Harriet Harman sitting there in the choir stalls? That was very unfortunate as seeing her sitting there looking typically smug in her own inimitable feminist style quite spoiled the enjoyment of seeing all those boys and men singing in such glorious surroundings. Maybe she was dreaming up a ridiculous scheme to have all those boys & men replaced by women and girls! What a travesty that would be! Only men and boys should sing in such choirs!

Yes, I wholly agree with you. While I was overjoyed at hearing the beautiful musice, I am much aware of the somberness of this occasion.

This gave me such chills, I don't know when I'll stop shivering. SO BEAUTIFUL! I was in a school choir in college when we performed this -- and I loved it, tried many years to find it, and had the unspeakably joyous occasion of finding it here. Many thanks for posting.
