It is past time to straighten this mess out man. I have seen both sides of this, the real and the fake. I can walk into a church and tell you what kind it is, in 30 seconds flat. - - The problem is, it takes something for a pastor to keep the church in order and nowadays most of them are more concerned with packing the church out and receiving an offering, than they are with speaking the true word of God and doing things decently and in order. The enemey has always found ways to attack the reflection of Christ-The Church. What better way to get people not to follow Christ than to corrupt the church. satan entered the church when Constantine made Christianity the offical religon of Rome, marrying the church to the world. Pagan traditions were mixed with the word of GOD or in place of. The children of God, church goers, and satan's workers are in the church. without a personal relationship with Christ it's impossible to not be decieved.
Well doc, let us just pray for them all that the Lord of the harvest will send laborers into the fields to change this status! Let us show the love of God through our compassion for lost souls as Jesus did and hopefully this will change thier hearts to do the same. Keep it real man and remain blessed!
Churches have become self absorbed, cushy, cozy, and weak. Our light is dimming in the world and our salt is becoming like sugar. Brother, you are telling the truth. Thank God for people who bring the truth to light. It's amazing that there is no difference between the church and the world. Lord have mercy. God forbid you speak up, you risk being thrown out and losing membership. It's good to know that if it comes to that, you can always study the word for yourself and have that relationship.
@iroc31407 - I've been there sister. Not only did I speak out, but I walked out. God led me to a church, my sister, and "if you had told me that there was a church like this" I would've called you a lie to your face. My church operates in order from the Bishop to the greeters, from starting on time to ending without everybody (who thinks they're important) having to talk for 20 minutes first. I know God has some real churches out there, we just have to allow Him to lead us to them. Bless ya sis.
@ppdrawings amen brother. i hear you. that's the type of church i attend but it took soooooooooo many years to be led to it. I would attend churches prior to that , but I never joined and eventually i would stop going. I spent some time out of church also. I wanted a church home but I knew I wanted one that was in order....just like you said my my brother. you are so telling the truth because i can't convince a lot of people that there are some good churches. they just laugh. stay blessed.

God led me to a church, my sister, and "if you had told me that there was a church like this" I would've called you a lie to your face.
