  • Heard about this yesterday vis HK email and had to find out more... looks awesome and I've heard that this should go for about $150... I LOVE it when technology like this (especially flybarless) gets affordable! :D I will get it as soon as I can afford to if my dealer says it's a keeper.

  • kinda scepticle with its 3D possibilities, until i see few decent video reviews...

would be awesome if they made it DSM2 reciever compatible

If HK is gonna copy n clone, might as well do it exactly the same..

  • As for me, I will no longer buy any brushed motor products. Not from HK, parkzone, horizon hobby, or anybody. No more brushed motors. This is 2011, the time for brushed motors has passed.

  • @helipassion I disagree, but only because of the size of this model, as it's a 100 class ultra micro like it's competitors. Brushed motors aren't really that bad anyways... I love the Xtreme 180's on my old Blade CX2, and the CX2 is around the size of a 180. Also, if you want an affordable heli, brushed motors are a great way to keep costs down both for the manufacturer and heli pilot (when the time comes for motor replacement). Brushed motor technology has come a long way as well.

  • cough cough mcpx clone cough cough

  • @RCllamadude hahah that's true... but it is half the price!

  • @RCllamadude Nope. Nine Eagles is owned by the Model Rectifier Corporation (MRC), which has been in business as long as Horizon, Hobbico, Tamiya, Kyosho, Graupner, and all the other giants. The American versions are simply re-branded and sold to you at three times the cost!

  • Does it have a stabilization like the mCPx has a 3-axis-gyro?

    Or does it come without?

What price will it be when it's out on the market?

  • I looked unstable

  • fancy this as i don't have a flybarless heli yet and small enough for my front room.

  • FYI most people who have the mCPx have experienced the same tail blow out and have solved it by installing the 120 SR tail boom and motor! also by using products from Novus helicopters, have made the main motor and ESC brushless!!! wouldnt be surprised if it was possible to do the same on this!!

  • Nice looking micro, may have to add this to the collection.

  • Already an estimate on pricing?.

  • Not sure if it was me but the tail did seem to wobble a little bit on take off and in the air, sure that can be sorted though and nice review = thumbs up.

  • Actually, you are buying the radio and the Heli is thrown in for free!
