Research? How the heck is this research? The sad part is some stupid college probably spend thousands and thousands of our tax dollars to come to the LIFE-CHANGE, CANCER-CURING, AWE-INSPIRING conclusion: wash your hands after handling bugs. What college sponsored this kind of absolute rubbish.

@nj10108 Speaking of curing cancer, I read in a book about 20 years ago that roaches can cure cancer by eating cancer-causing cells. Don't remember if he specified the kind or roaches in general. I would sponsor any research that would reveal anything good about roaches and encourage people not to kill them, after seeing them persecuted on TV and in real life for 40 years. Other good things: predict hurricanes; pollunate plants; gentle; pretty colors; cute, wavy antennae; etc.
