you can get these at headshops/smokeshops

rolled up paper or card material works fine instead of a filter if you just want a crutch

I've allways had the problem that they are too thick, hard to smoke.

Too much tobacco -> hard to smoke.

Too little tobacco -> small thick one still hard to smoke.
