yess very great man i just met him today and i have an audition with him tomrrow morning he is in cairo egypt (thats where i live) i am a mezzo soprano in the making and i wish he accepts me in his master class which starts this week :) amazing man great spirit and very inspiring
grrr. there's another tom krause who teaches voice and self-confidence for making speeches. I don't think it's the same guy. but tom krause the opera singer is way down on the list if you search for tom krause voice teacher.
@stevevandien thank u well i wasnt accepted he said am such a begginer but i have good potential so he invited e to attend his classes as a listener. so generoius of him. i took a pc with him too:) i leARNED MORE ABOUT life from hm than music. very positive spirited man who makes every1 happy just as soon as he walks into the room, he also said since ppl r looking for him on youtube, that he would make his own page and upload his own stuff by himself soon when he is more free!
@rockstar281986 Overall, this seems to have been a VERY positive experience. I'm so happy for you -- do, please, enjoy the process of growing as an artist:) -- Best always, Steve
Does no one have just the instrumental its self without the singing? The singing is beautiful and all, but once in a while, you want some old fashion instrumental D:
The version of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande is my personal favorite version of this opera. It's an unknown, but great orchestra that marvellously translates the temperament of this opera
this has so much energy - going to hear it over and over!!

Alfredo Kraus was a Spanish tenor, Tom Krause was a Finnish baritone.

Does anyone know if Krause is still alive and singing? I always admired his handsome, well-used and sizable lyric baritone ---
