Legality doesn't make things like treatment available, it only makes it legal for people to possess and use, however, tolerance to addicts (of any drug) is what we need to strive for, if we can tolerate them, we can get them the help they need, however, with the zero tolerance policies, they'd rather just throw them in jail and allow prison drug trades to continue, not put them into a rehabilitation center to stop their use to prevent them from buying when they go to prison.

Well, judging by the interior of that "sub", it certainly appeared to be backyard built....with rectangular windows instead of watertight sight ports, they couldn't have been able to have submerged to more than a couple or three feet. Very ballsy though ...I will give the smugglers credit for that. Frankly I'd rather take my chances in a DC-3 and fly under the radar the way they used to.

I think calling that vessel a submarine is stretching the facts.That boat could never run truly submursed. Its good propaganda for the authorities to say they are actually catching subs. Anyone that has any clue about sailing can easily see that their "sub"is not really a sub.Just look at the exhaust system and you can see that if that boat ever actually dived it would be a one way trip.The good part of that story is that they got caught.

I still feel that cocaine should be legal. If it was legal your grandpa would have been able to go get help without fearing being sent to jail. If it was legal we would have better education on the substances not just "ITS BAD IF YOU TAKE IT YOU WILL DIE!"

Legality doesn't make things like treatment available, it only makes it legal for people to possess and use, however, tolerance to addicts (of any drug) is what we need to strive for, if we can tolerate them, we can get them the help they need, however, with the zero tolerance policies, they'd rather just throw them in jail and allow prison drug trades to continue, not put them into a rehabilitation center to stop their use to prevent them from buying when they go to prison.

well you would think that if we made drugs legal. we would save soooo much money from not paying all those officers, judges, gaurds .. it costs 30 thousand a year for 1 prisoner .. we arrested 850 000 in one year. add all of those things up .. and if we cant take some of that money and fund a rehab program ...
not to mention once the drugs are legal we can start to have real education on them .. instead of they are bad dont do them. If its legal people wont be afraid to talk about it
