Tarus are better suited to be used for mage jobs.

your best bet is the taru taru, but humes work well also, elvaans galkas and mithra dont work so well but the first 2 are your true best bet, id be hume because humes can do everything, tarus cant, neither can the other races

Honestly, any race can be a great blm, or any job for that matter. I know plenty of godly black mages who are Elvaan. It just depends on gear and skill.

same here dude i played that game for a year and not one level 75 i gave up with that game seeing how getting to level 75 was impossible seeing how it was constant grinding and trying to avoid agro was hard and it would get you killed and grinding all day and waiting for a GOOD party was boring and hard i play way and man i am flying in that game

Lol it may be hard sometimes to get to 75 with a job, but it's not that bad. Got 3 jobs to 75 in a year. And as for getting a party, if you're doing something WHILE looking for one, you're not wasting time. Farm some items, kill Easy preys or Decent challenge. Seriously, if you know what to do the game is not bad. Just have to be informed. Internet FTW!

I've been playing FFXI for about a year now myself, and I totally sympathize. I'm Black Mage 60 at the time of posting this (almost 61). I level pretty slowly, I admit, but I don't care. I'm really dreading fighting Ma'at, but at least watching this video's given me a touch of confidence to try. :P
