  • That's not spanish, is Castilian. Matias is from Chile.

  • @marijuanis qué pretencioso. Matías nació en Chile, pero se viró cuando tenía tres años.

  • He is saying "como un helado derritiendose" that means " like a ice cream melting" he has spanish accent from Spain (europe)

  • I heard he mixes spanish, english and nonsense. which is pretty much what it sounds like. so it should be impossible to accurately translate.

I first heard of him thru my love of BATTLES now I am in fucking love with HIS music!

  • I understand Spanish but honestly ¨como un Helado derritiendose¨ is the only lyric i understand when he sings. He has a weird acent.

  • what language is this in?

  • @octopuscollective Spanish! you can barely understand what he sings, but it's spanish.

  • @Lizka88 Yes. It is Spanish. It says "like an ice cream melting down" which is a play on words because the Spanish for "like" (as in "similar to") is "como", and "como" at the same time means "I'm eating". So, the lyrics could be interpreted both as "like an ice cream melting down" and "I'm eating an ice cream".
