  • 2:00 That's because gays can't stand Mormons, Donnie!

    BTW, Where's the CHEESE?

  • he forgot to ring up the pecan sandies

  • @Thespoofshow1 I love Roger, his voice cracks me up every time.

  • milk like he's milking it for praise

  • lol love donny

    x

  • I understand all the food analogies but not the milk one. What does that mean?

  • Donny was handsome, but gee whiz he needs to stick to singing.

  • what great timing, biting sarcasm & disinterested contempt!

i don't think an actor can learn this...you have it or you don't...and paul had it indeed!

    a very funny man...

  • What a turd burglar!

  • They are my 5th cousin or maybe 6th. I thought I'd say that once in my life... :)

  • Donnie and Marie Osmond are my 5ths cousins. huh... thought I'd say that once in my life.

  • @PatrickDOBrien I heard that paul lynde was their bishop and they are members of the mormon church.

  • Bruce Vilaches wrote for this show

  • Roger!

  • great timing!

  • Wow I can't believe an old episode of Donnie and Marie from the 70s had a commentary of an older Donnie and Marie commenting on Paul Lynde.

  • should be prunes instead of frogs legs

  • Donnie sounds like johnny depp in fear and loathing!

  • @spinners123 He sounds like Keanu Reeves!

  • Paul Lynde is a genius.

  • I love this sooo much!! Haha...I can't stop watching it ^_^

  • What an expert talent, and gone far too soon.

Thanks for this, it's really funny. He was a lot like Alice Ghostley!

  • love Paul.... hilarious..

  • What I like is how as the scene progressed and the items kept coming, his voice got bitter and more bitter.

You don't write that stuff exactly.

  • However, he was uncredited.

  • u kno, Roger on American Dad. His voice was actually based on Paul's

  • @honeycomb97 yeah, and it doesn't do Paul justice at all. Completely misses the mark

  • @honeycomb97 No Way!

  • @honeycomb97 ALWAYS THOUGHT SO.

  • @honeycomb97 read: total rip off

  • lol... umm you mean most of the conservative United States.

  • Paul Lynde does have perfect timing for comedy. Thank you for sharing! The Osmonds were such a clean-cut family (singers) with great music (great to grow up with that kind of influence).

  • but did you ever notice that paul lynde and Alice Ghostley were the same character? Both brilliant, but almost exact same mannerisms

  • fruit cake

  • haha roger from america dad is so much like him

  • Seth Mcfarlane actually said that Roger's character is an homage to Paul Lynde. Funny you noticed that, cheers.

  • How could anyone not notice that?

  • Wasnt that young guy on oprah a cople of years ago, he was very popular when he was kid in his band.

  • I seem to remember Him having a cple songs out......I liked Him for about 5mins.

a very long 5 mins thats lasted 37 yrs so far !!! LOL

    xxx

  • Oh wow, Seth McFarlane really did base American Dad's Roger the Alien after Lynde. To a T.

    God, Paul Lynde is good.

  • he can't replace the orignal

  • how sad for you

  • Was it maybe that he didn't like Mormons, not "kids"?

  • Donnie Osmond? Nah, he's not Hispanice. he's Mormon.

    -- Matt

  • I love Paul Lynde so much and think he is the funniest comedian that ever was. I used to watch him when I was a kid and loved him. No matter what he said he was funny. I am sorry he is gone.

  • Ham, Turkey Absolutely hilarious!!!

  • lol... hilarious!!!

  • very funny

  • Paul Lynde was one of those performers who could make people laugh by saying anything. It was that weird twang in his voice that was so funny.

  • Paul Lynde was a comedic genius. The only one I've ever seen who could transform snide, bitter contempt for humanity into beautiful laughter.

  • You damn right. And like I said the last time you posted that, he was a veritable avatar to smart-asses yet to come.

  • It was ok til Paul Lynde's part was over..

  • ha. ha. Paul Lynde's way is so humourous.

    "Bewitched", hosting "The Hollywood Squares"

  • Boy, does this bring back memories. I am still a huge Osmond fan to this day. LindaFromKY

  • I gotta respect Donny. If only for the fact that the man is a tremendously good sport when it comes to jokes about him. He knows people think he's totally white bread and he embraces it. Like his cameo in "White & Nerdy". One Hell of a good sport. He also plays along well when he appeared on Space Ghost. I dont listen to his singing at all but I can respect his attitude.
