  • Show Me The Carfax.

  • @MrRg805 SHOW ME YOUR MOTHER'S PENIS!.

  • Wonder if they ever figured out what caused it?

  • Minivans suck!!! the people who drive them should be taken of the road and thrown in jail for wreckless driving!!!

  • good job

  • I'll bet a fuel leak sprayed with gasoline or oil onto the engine block... you can see fuel pouring out and igniting under the car. Glad the mother and infant got out safe

  • OPEN THAT FREEWAY BACK UP!

  • MOVE ALONG PEOPLE. THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE HERE!

  • This gives the saying "burning rubber" a whole new meaning

  • Man that was a nice van

  • Recipe for a Gag

    Ingredients:

a well involved vehicle fire, engine compartment communicating tthrough-out

    1 rookie firefighter

    1 demented veteran firefighter

Now, when the line is charged have the veteran graciously hand the 'nob' to the rookie. Tell the rookie to hit the front tire well with all the fire surrounding the front tire.

when the tire blows and sounds like a bomb. Watch rookie jump and lose control of his bowels.

a treat for all to enjoy!!!

  • By the time the fire was at the intensity that it was at at 1:00, I would have closed the road.

  • sometimes VTEC is just to powerful

  • i hope they made some chicken cause they got the fire

  • Hope you had insurance.......

  • No making s'mores in the backseat!

  • Thumbs up to a good demo of proper FF. Full PPE and coordinated attack. Only thing I saw was the guy standing too close to the front bumper. Bumper shocks have broken more then a few legs of guys too close when they exploded. Nice fast response time...

  • @GT5005 rasist bastard!

  • POS Honda it got what it deserved burn in hell

  • :(

  • thats what they get for buying a gook import made in communist china! they should of burned along with the car for not supporting the american economy and supporting gook terrists!!!!!

  • How many people does it take to hold a hose?...the more the merrier!

  • che auto di merda!!!

  • that noise that sounds like gun shots are the tires popping and glass being blown out

  • would be nice to have that alarm on a truck like a q2b....if it was small enough that would be sweet

  • well kids i guess your not makin it to soccer practice

  • can they get any farther away from the fire when they were putting it out??? and how many people does it take to hold a hose??? other than that,,, great job...

  • why is there a siren so loud?

  • I bet it's the driver's fault. Hondas are perfect in every way.

  • @DBR96A thats a joke.

  • @specops3866 Exactly.

  • @DBR96A lol ok just making sure.

  • YOU COULD BE DRIVING A HONDA!!!! BUT THE CAR IS ON FIRE!!!! AND THEN YOU WILL DIE!!!!

  • Poor honda, RIP

  • Looks like its right infront of a station. How convienient

  • Doesn't look as if it came from engine compartment, could be insulation failure of heat shield around hot catalytic converter, near fuel line.

  • @HPG747 - thats what I would guess, or the kid in the car shorted out one of the electrical outlets somehow?

  • Is It Just Me Or Are Those Firemen Taking The Piss?

  • is it just me or is it getting hot in here

  • I'm waiting for that Vince guy to pop into the frame and yell about how this is no problem for revolutionary new Wax-O-Matic, yours for just 5 payments of $69.99. But wait there's more...

  • @ClakClak08 Wow you Are freaking funny dude i am laughing so hard i am crying lol ur awesome...

  • ehh its a Honda not a big loss....thats where it belongs

  • We always go for the front when going for the engine....Not the side of the hood. Put your back into it man... lol Good vid though!

  • Somebody was smoking in the car Thats why the engine wasn't lit

  • Free Car Wash..

  • Best paint job ever I call it BURNT

  • omg ! did someone get hurt ?!

  • @LaraCutiiie,

Luckily, no one was injured (according to the description). But it must have been unpleasant for the owner to see her Odyssey get destroyed by fire.

  • Whats with the siren

  • @KosukiFire pretty much every volunteer fire dept on long island, and even in the north east region uses audible alarms ( the sirens) as another way of alerting volunteers aside from the pagers

  • Good job to the firefighters. While the haligan works to crack the corner of the hood I like using the circular saw to open the hood with an A cut or cross hood cut.

  • Can't believe they let cars pass by

  • Id be pissed if that was my car!

  • @megs905 who wouldn't be :-/

  • wheres the foam come on now dont be pussies get in there

  • shots fire and a tornado siren goes off and car alarm goes off rofl JK

  • @8534951 lol Fail Tornado Siren

  • @joshyperk Sorry but up in the northeast most departments have those sirens on the firehall. Never have tornado warnings up there so the idea that they are connected to tornadoes is a bit odd for someone from there. That's a fire siren to anyone in the northeast

  • @8534951 its a car fire the siren goes off incase the fire dept doesnt have any diaphones it goes off for the call check out my vids

  • This happened to me last week December 9th 2010. My Volvo V70 just burst into flames as we were heading into town. Lucky we got out fast as in 30 seconds it was an inferno. God forbid this should happen to anyone infirm - they would not get out.We don't know what caused it and probably never will but we're just glad we're here to moan about it! 'Nuff said!!!

  • if i had to guess i'd say the exhaust broke off or something and touched the gas tank burning through it if it were made of plastic. Or it simply punctured the tank and the sparks from it ignited the fire. At the start if you look under the front of the van you will see something hanging down underneath.

  • The sad thing is all those people saw the car and continued on with their day. yep a typical las vegas day.

  • Happened to my husband's chevy blazer right after he had had it serviced. It went up in flames in a matter of minutes. He remembered to take his laptop out of the car but forgot the satellite radio and my stroller! This was several years ago. We still laugh about it. We are thankful we only lost a car and not my husband! They never found what caused the car fire. Everyone on the highway stopped to gawk.

  • Its a Honda!

  • Those poping things where the airbags blowing of one by one?

  • @tfmercedez no the pops you heard were the tires and windows blowing out from the heat and fire..the airbags never deployed

  • Don't they know how to pop a hood and put a car fire out faster ? Dam guys. Grow a pair and stick the nozzle inside it

  • this is one of my worse fears, especially being a mom of two girls ages almsot 9 months and 4 years old, I dont know what I would do if I couldnt get 1 of them out but could get the other one out, my 4 year old has dyspraxia and aperxia and sensiry intergration/prossing disorder and she still hasnt figured out how to get out of her carseat(I think I am going to practice that with her all the time now incase something like this ever happens to us. it is realy screary:'( I am glad mom babe out!

  • @jsrcamp As a firefighter myself, at least where I am from. Car fires are few and far between. Fire can and will start pretty rapidly but "USUALLY" not fast enough to get your kids out before it completely goes up. The only way it would go up really fast is if there was some sort of accellerant in or on it. There are circumstances other than what I mentioned but rarely happen to where it takes a matter of seconds. Won't go into that tho. Hardly ever happens. I have never seen it.

  • @jsrcamp Get one of the "recues hammers" to keep in your vehicle. They're usually orange, about 6-8" long and have a carbide tip to break window glass and a seatbelt cutter at the other end so if the belts get tangled you can cut them. But like Lakearea said, getting trapped in a burning vehicle is extremely rare. I've been in the fire service for over 25 years and taken approximately 20,000 calls and I've only seen it personally twice in all that time.

  • must be a rookies crew,yall suck,s

  • wow poor minivan

  • 1..2..3 lets start cooking

  • That van is in the smoke!

  • Comment removed

  • The fire engine sounds like an air-raid siren!

  • @athull08 thats because it is one.....

  • @athull08 that is an "air riad siren" you hear as the 1st engine pulls up. it's a Federal Signal Model 7.

  • @athull08 that is an "air raid siren" you hear as the 1st engine pulls up. alot of VFDs in that area use them to call in volunteers, and let other around to be aware trucks are going to roll soon.

  • @Federal3t22 Ah, right. I just never heard that because that doesn't happen in britain, you just hear the standard fire engine siren, which sounds just like an ambulance or a police car.

  • i love how their public alert siren came on when the engine was just getting OnLoc. they must have been real slow to respond and that was the realert....

  • @Bensmithstation60 The fire station is only a block away to the right on that overpass...

  • 3 things u need to save someone trapped in car on fire 3 men with phom tank 1 to do inside car 2 other do under car before it reach gas tank u should have knife to cut seat belt

  • @8g0h dude are you even a firefighter? sounds like your not you would never be able to get to the car if it was burning like that foam is used after the fire is out not to fight the fire the smoke would be so thick n toxic you would stop breathing in a min from it the gas tank will not explode unless it had a hole in it to expand the way your talking your going to get hurt the next car fire you go to dont tell people how and what to use to save there lives unless you have training ok

  • @gordyfri we get alot of car fires and we use our foam to put the fire out not after its it the foam smothers the flames

  • the fire siren sounded so close, how far was the fire station?

  • @starcraftguy1 The fire station is off to the right on the overpass...about a block away...the siren is just to the left of the expressway, close to the overpass...

  • @wheresgoober thanks

  • oh sh*** !!! did I leave my baby in there!?!?!

  • looks like a electrical issue (since its started on the inside). or they could have started it just for insurance

  • Holy S...that siren sounds EXACTLY like a tornado siren.

  • extensive damage ? It's totaled man,,,toast

  • Lol im a firefighter and when that loud LOUD Q came on i thought it was my station and started to leave lol oh wow FUNNY SHIT

  • @epiphonelp100g The siren you heard was no Federal Q2B. It was an alarm siren for a volunteer fire dept I would imagine...

  • @JNHstudios yea it is i just couldnt think of anything else to call it lol

  • @JNHstudios Yes, that's one of the Jericho volunteer fire dept. alarms...

  • @JNHstudios They are also known as RED ALARM

  • @JNHstudios Yup most fire stations on long island have federal signal air raid sirens installed.

  • i once saw a car on the highway in Toronto on fire. how do cares usually start on fire? just curious to know.

  • why did they put the tornado siren on?????

  • @1skramer That is one of the Jericho Volunteer Fire Dept. alarm sirens. It is located just to the left of where the car fire is, closer to the overpass. Even though the members are alerted to alarms by radio-pagers, the sirens are sounded when there is an alarm.

  • Wow. That sucks. At least now it's an excuse to get a new car.

  • What was that horn?

  • There goes the airbag at 2:51

  • Look like from catalytic converter, since the fire came out from bottom.

  • @1SmileDude1 Or not. Since the converters are attached to the heads....

  • The car got a nice washing inside and out.

  • 0:38 the electricals die, notice the headlamps go out?

  • @shortcrossrulezz Well, I would have if the camera hadn't been moving around so much.

  • it's used... it's a Honda... and it's on fire... heeelllppppp!!!!

  • nice video ! Thumbs up

  • could have been the childs dvd player or something shorted out....

  • INSIDE JOB.

  • on the driver side @ 4:05 notice the sparks from burning magnesium

  • @a1bfd thats shits not good a guy from a neighbor department got a small piece on his eye lid during overhaul

  • at least she got a free car wash

  • MAN!!, I'm scared now in 2005 one of my family cars caught on fire, in 2007 another one of my family cars caught on fire, the in 2008 one more of my family cars caught on fire, 'm scared when the next car fire might be :(

  • Great Video ;D

  • Great Video!!

  • Mother: "hold onto my smoke for me while i find my vodka bottle"

Kid: *throws smoke onto the alcohol soaked back seat*

  • This should be done to ALL Japanese cars.

  • nice WWII sirene

  • i wish miley cyrus was in there

  • @cody321456789 and justin bieber...

  • @cody321456789 You wished you and clubdestroy shut up

  • @11254cdk fuck off dumbass

  • "sustained extensive damage?" I'd say it was completely destroyed.

  • Love the sound of that Model 7 going off in the background. Glad to see Jericho still uses them!

  • That is one hell of a loud siren.

  • This is near the spot where Harry Chapin was killed in his burning car in 1981.

  • It must be a safety recall before Honda did a recall on some part. Why don;t we go back to the basics when autos were made at the time.

  • THAT IS INSANE! At least they got out okay!!

  • it would suck to have been in there

  • Im glad the mother and her kid are ok. Kinda shocking tho to be in your car one moment, and have to get out cuz of a fire, the next.

  • was the air raid horn really necessary lol

  • @ZCP1364 the Jericho fire HQ is about a 30 second drive from that particular spot, and they, like most fire departments on Long Island, have a loud horn atop the building that sounds whenever there is an alarm

  • The owner put on a Kasbian CD track name ''Im on Fire'' then this is what happend

  • 2006 Honda Odyssey for sale. 23k miles great for hauling kids around in. This van is HOTTT!!! Will smoke any other van out there.

I can just see it now

  • anyone for some fried car?

  • What a waste of a good and reliable car. I wish it was one of those crappy Dodge Caravan that caught fire.

  • What a waste of a new Odyssey......

  • da nimm kein arss nern feuerlöscher man man man

  • Why the hell is there a tornado siren going off? :|

  • @blacklabel416 Fire siren, its for volunteer firefighters, you see/hear it mostly near the eastern US. It alerts volunteers in the area that a call is in progress and requires a response should their pagers fail, or if the department does not possess a pager. From what it sounds like, its most likely for this exact car fire to get additional apparatus and water to the scene. Youtube has a few excellent examples of fire sirens if you were to look it up.

  • thats a huge fire

  • pipipipipi

  • think that was an airbag that popped at 2:50. Those things are soooo dangerous.

  • headlights go out at :38 or is that a reflection?

  • yeah looks like it to me. Wires finally burned in two or the battery gave out.

  • I am guessing that the oil tank scrapped something at the bottom.

  • why siren like an tornado siren and is it in New york , i just can figure out the light bat , traffic advisor of the CVPI .

  • Since firefighters carry pagers sometimes if we don't have them on our belts or handy anywhere, the siren lets us know if there is an emergency so we can get to the fire house. It's really loud and you can hear it from very far away.

  • sorry fire dept

  • What causes the horn to sound continuously from 1:49?

  • The fire got an electrical wire probably.

  • @BellyLover06 i agree , because the fire siren suddenly appear .

  • @BellyLover06 just the burning of the wires can make then on and off. thats why the lights were flashing also

  • 1:28 was the Fire Stations Right Next Door?

U CAN HERE THE FIRE SIREN REAL GOOD!

  • Jericho FD HQ is about a minutes drive from there, so yeah

  • i have to agree the fire was p[ossibly fuel leaking on to the hot exhaust under the vehicle.

  • aww poor honda :(

  • hahaha carnage well good no one got hurt

  • there is not engine fire im shoure its stollen the teens just abandded it and set it on fire if relly you have to steel a car at least do not set it on fire save our insurence rates thanks

  • @vivitar45 Did you read the description!? 2nd, who steals a car, stops on the side of the expressway in broad daylight to set it on fire?

  • @studpuppy69 i have seen people rob cars drive them for less then 5 min crash and burn them down right on the beltparkway in Brooklyn outright

  • @studpuppy69 WOW How Intelligent was the person that assumed this?

  • They probably ruined the interior with all that water!

  • looks like a fuel line cause its no fire by the engine

  • @motorfreak92 that and the fact u can see it pooling on the bottom of the car/road

  • Any car can catch on fire, regardless of brand.

  • @fixinggrace yes that is true

  • @fixinggrace my car cant

  • @fixinggrace I always thought the GM cars were famous for that.

  • @omg122448 ????

  • @fixinggrace : that is very true, recently witnessed a Mercedes burned at the side of the road...

  • It could've been engine trouble.
