  • @420carnoob I would if you had a dick. Being a dick is not the same as having one ok skippy.

  • boooyah that looks like fun haha!

  • would u like some chopsticks for your rice?

  • @bakkerrich1979 keep hating scrub

  • @Galaron28 Stating a fact is far from hating dickhead, but I dont expect a ricer to understand that. If you had any brains at all, you obviously wouldnt waste your time with this shit...so I guess I am wasting my time trying to explain anything to a ricer knob.

  • @bakkerrich1979 you obviously don't know the definition of what a ricer or "Rice" is. And since you could do nothing more than type obscenities instead of making a point i guess it shows your total lack of knowledge and full capabilities of stupidity.

  • @Galaron28 Insulting my intelligence is stating a fact eh smart guy? Well here is some facts for you genius. According to the NHTSA, motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death for "ricers" between the ages of 16 and 20. The IIHS says 5,749 "ricers" died in the United States from motor vehicle crash injuries in 1999. Seems you rice rocket nubs cant drive for shit. Hows that for a fact fuckbag. I might be stupid but not stupid enough to drive a rice rocket.

  • @bakkerrich1979 lmao no where does it say ricer on the report. its the age range in motor vehicle accidents. doesn't even specify gender. means all young kids suck at driving. you are so fail its too easy. what are you 13? Using words like knob and nub?

  • @Galaron28 Ricer: from the latin word Ricarius meaning to suck at everything you attempt. A person who makes unecessary modifications to their import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. The most common modifications huge exhaust that serves no purpose, large spoiler that looks like something Boeing made for the 747, after-market stickers they don't have parts from, rims that usually cost more than the car, bodykit accented with chicken wire.

  • @bakkerrich1979 lmao what a tool. Google works wonders huh? haha unnecessary modifications. i didn't see anything unnecessary on the car. stickers for parts they don't have? Hmm didn't see that either. big wing? Still didn't see that. there for not a ricer. there for still no facts. Thanks for doing the leg work though. its easy to prove how stupid you are when you do it for me. self high five homie.

  • @Galaron28 Well homie I was giving you the official defenition of ricer so I guess you are calling the urban dictionary stupid not me. Thank you for also proving your ignorence. As shakespeare said "I think the man doth protest too much". You obviously fall into the category I mentioned. Would you like some soy for your rice?

  • @bakkerrich1979 Official? Its the urban dictionary you retard. lmao. its not official. Its defined by people like you and me. well maybe not so much you. And thank you for the "Shakespeare" quote. Even though it was from his play hamlet and not a direct quote. Jesus you are dumb. Only thing I proved and continue to prove is your stupidity. but atlas someone in your position never realise just how dumb they are. The fact you responded to a post 6 months ago says two things.

  • @bakkerrich1979 jail or too damn broke to afford internet. so exit stage left welfare boy.

  • @Galaron28 I cant say I am surprised to hear you are in jail and poor, you seem like the "white trash" type. Sorry to hear you are exiting stage left welware boy. Just curious why you would sign a message as welfare boy?

  • @bakkerrich1979 you are beyond ignorant. not even worth my time anymore.

  • @Galaron28 Do you hear that high pitched noise? That is the worlds tiniest violin playing you a sad tune.

  • @bakkerrich1979 would you like a dick for your mouth?

  • @420carnoob You know you are the only little penis for me carnoob.

  • @bakkerrich1979 would you like some gas money to drive your moms car to the job that you don't have?

  • @Lance880 Yes please you bitch. Will you be paypalling me the money or should I pick it up from your pimp? Tell your mom she still owes me a grand from all the crack she bought off me when she was pregnant with your ignorent ass.

  • it says si on the right of the cluster...dumbasses

  • man, you are walking the crap out of 85% of v8's on the topend, nice build, power to weight pwns all

  • ok, so where is the answer about the cluster!!???? i want to know

  • sick ^^

  • sick si cluster i love mine is gona be done to day whoots yays me

  • turbo too big thats useless u only got 2000 rpm where it hits gt3076r .63 hits full boost at 5500

  • @reo702

With a turbo you refer to CFM, not PSI.

A Big turbo can be laggy, a ball helps.

However once that big turbo spools it's gonna pack in alot more air at the same PSI, of a smaller turbo.

(Unless it's a piece of shit big turbo)

  • with a full tank of gas smh haha shit is bannanas

  • lol damb only 10lbs of boost..... shiiiit CUT THAT BITCH LOOSE

  • nice!

  • Nice setup! BUT, that GT35R is barely running @ 1/4 of it's efficiency. These turbo's are made to run over 25+psi to make huge power. Unless your on a conservative tune, or still breaking it in. Get it tune to at least ~20lbs if your motor's fully built. If not, swap that turbo for something smaller GT2871, 3071, 3076, etc. And you'll make more power and be much faster at the same psi your running in this vid. Just my opinion, but again nice setup! Especially in a REX!

  • @reo702 u sound like a dumbass, if the setup is tuned its gna do what its fucking supposed to. Ur obviously not a tuner if your on youtube so get off his fucking nuts man go ride ur girlfriends dick. Ive had 3 boosted hondas on garret turbos gt28, gt35r, gt40 and they all ran at their EFFiciency. So ur saying the turbo is doing a 1/4 of the work its supposed to? NO! Small turbos spool quicker but just because u have a huge turbo dont think its not gonna do what its supposed to kid

  • i kno you need to re sleeve and use forged low comp pistons and rods but can the stock crank take the power ?

  • just as fast as gt500 with stage 2 kit and borla exhaust...but with half the cylinders, less than half the displacement, and a fraction of the fuel consumption. lol people think honda are slow; v8 are fucking slooooow

  • @HondaEPHatch I'm a fan of honda's but you got it wrong, 4 cylinders are slow. A mustang with a swapped motor and turbo would destroy this car that has a swapped motor and turbo'd. Just saying mod for mod, v8 FTW

  • @shortstop12088 Yeah you could do it to the stang for triple the cost of the honda and the reliability isn't there for the stang either.

  • @B16power69

Lmao, to put both of the cars at the same horsepower, the mustang would have FAR more reliability. And this is coming from a person who loves all cars whether it's import or domestic. And what makes a mustang cost 3 times more, considering it's only 1 more turbo manifold? It's no where near 3 times more.

  • @HondaEPHatch well said !

  • @Fleshdc Its a radar detector.

  • "Dude that was hualin ass" ha ha awesome!

  • i think this rex has more potential than this. it almost seems like there's something restricting its power. what Intake manifold and what turbo manifold are you running?

  • Comment removed

  • gt35r at 10psi nice shit. whats done to the motor?

  • gotta love a crx

  • my friend paul could beat you with his crx

  • @chriskeel91 .......tell paul good for him and also tell him to post a video

  • @1JDMb16aEJ8 haha holly shit....I am randomly surfing youtube and i seen the name paul and was like??? ME? naw. Turns out chris is my best friend and has alot of learning to do considering i just a ls crx that is still n/a. Nice rex yours would smoke mine btw.

  • jeeez!!!! what a beast

  • gsr only good for 0 to 100

  • @shifter510 what a suker

  • @MummiesLilmonster NAH I aint the one smoking crack its the ones at the shop where i went to smoking it. Im just saying the execive prices they gave me. Typically where i live the b18 sells for 1800 so i guess 1500 is a good price

  • weak. you have a gt35r. MORE BOOST PLEASE. get some rods and valves and give it hell.

  • it pulled pretty good but not for a gsr with a 35r i have seen t25s pull about the same

  • whats so special about a b18c, i saw one yesterday at a shop and i asked about it and its $4200 while the k20 is $4800.... For the price range i figured a k20 would be better.

  • 4200 for a b18 lollololol, thats real pricey

  • thats what i tought! but then the gsr sells for about 2500 with tranny, i dont know the difference from each but i rather get the gsr.

  • 2500 sounds about right used, i guess the 4k+ made sense brand new from like a honda dealership. id go for the gsr too

  • @jcdebbs gsr has vtak at like 4 k or sum shit.

  • 4200 for a b18. thats a rip off

  • you can get a b18 bored out to 2.0 liters and the block is built harder than a k20, a lot of people turbo b18s without even opening the motor, they are pretty hard motors to blow if you don't push them rediculously. and i can get an older b18 for 300 and by the time i rebuild it putting 4k into it it'll be putting out at least 300 hp easy.

  • thats pretty impressive. But i dont know anyone who i trust to rebuild me a b18 or any motor and i have litlle idea on how much it will cost me. So to avoid getting ripped off i rather just get me a stock gsr with transmission for about 2500 gran from a reputable shop close to where i live.

  • Was it a b**ch putting the si cluster in??

  • takes like 10 mins to swap out a instrument cluster

  • i looove speeding up on our bridge haha its a 1/2 mile straight away

  • Honestly i agree with DSMERGSX, if you went with a smaller turbo then you would definitely get better #'s. That turbo is very efficient under high boost plus a b18 is a small engine anyway!

  • what kind of engine, is it a b18c5?

  • you do know if you had a smaller turbo this would be faster

  • its area under the power curve. a smaller turbe would spool faster, so even thought the peak hp might be lower, it produces more power faster...Althought the 1/4 and such might be faster, i still prefer the fun of waiting for the spool and knowing that at 7,500rpms and 140mph, my turbo aint going to be my problem :) i love the anticipation. much like sex. at times looking forward to it is better than it..... horrible example but still.... i love turbo lag...

  • im talking about a smaller turbo with a smaller compressor and turbine, at 10lbs any smaller turbo is gonna make more power

  • wrong pal... while a smaller turbo would spool faster yes, a smaller turbo is only efficient to so much power before it is only forcing hot air into the motor making it ineficient, the gt35r is a very very good turbo being ball bearing does not kill its spool time and its ability to produce so much power! if you need i will show you a video of my buddies civic with a b18 and a gt35r. and yes i like dsm also so dont start the honda shit i have a 95 talon tsi awd

  • at 10lbs any smaller turbo is more efficient, go read there compressor maps 35r's aint moving air until at least 20psi

  • Comment removed

  • Actually the DSM kid is right...if you are only going to run 10psi there really is no point in having a turbo this size. A BB 50 trim would more than suffice.

The only reason people like this buy the 35r is to say that they have a gt35r

  • haha dude . its a bad ass free float turbo . you talking bb 50 trim... t3t04 ? well its 500whp capable also . the 35r is a 56 trim .... whoop de doo . you should use your turbo tech in a better manner . gt55r capable of 1700 whp uses 49.5 trim . trim is not the proper way to classify turbo size and performance . the 35r works good on the honda because of its high rpm moving alot of cfm . and cfm is what the turbo is used for . less psi , more rpm is the same cfm as more psi less rpm ...

  • All I said is that there are turbos that would be a better suit for this car and this build. Sure, the 35r only has a 56mm compressor but its more like a 58 lb/min wheel. There really isnt a need for that. A GT28 or 30r would make the same about of power on this setup on the same amount of boost while still spooling faster.

  • t28 nor 30r would make equal to or greater power than the 35r on the same psi . i can tell you are noob . first off the 35r has a 56 trim compressor . trim isnt in mm . second , the compressor inducer and exducer wheels are bigger than the t28 and 30r . all while flowing more cfm than those turbos .... hmmmm heres a hint buddy . turbo efficiency is measured on a certain boost level that uses the turbos full capacity . its still flowing more cfm due to its specifications .

  • Compressed air is always heated, whether or not the turbo is within its efficiency range. Thats why there are intercoolers.

The 35r is just a bit of overkill for a mild build like this. I still hold to the fact that people only run this turbo so that they can say they run a 35r.

  • yes gt40r is in my opinion best street turbo i have tried every diff turbo borg, turbonetics, precision non of them come close garret best street turbo... 2l gsr crx gt40 all day

  • heres what happened before the pull .. crx driver killed the blunt . passenger got the camera out , all pissed cuz it was still a big roach when the driver tossed it . he cranked the SUBLIME + 10 points .started to record. then the downshift , then boost started around 6k LOL so - 9 points .. you still earned + 1 point bro .

  • hahahaha good shit

  • i write funny shit when im " medicated " hahaha peace and pot

  • im still medicated HAHAHAHAHAH

  • there's a write up online, u just need the cluster and speed sensor (electronic) and pretty much match the color of pin out. there's few wires are different color, but its not hard to do.

  • they do fit right in, pretty simple too. only thing there's a little gap on the lower part its not noticeable at all. unless u know where to looik for

  • clean cr-x loving the ek cluster

  • Eagle products are shit.

  • for 31compton your a dumb fuck it is a 99-00 si cluster they go to 140 and i heard they fit right in

  • hey dumbasss thats the non si!

  • i want to know is that a 1999-2000 civic si cluster and did you need to do mods to get it in there

  • ya i do too! i am not the biggest fan of 88-91 clusters... i like the jdm one but hate kilometers. i want the si cluster!

  • no its not the 2000 cluster the 2000 cluster gauges go to 120 only!

  • FYI its a 99-00 civic si cluster. i have the same onein my car. You can see it says SI inbetween the temp and fuel gauge.

  • no teheres noT!

  • Who really cares......

Watching this vid again, this driver rips the fuck out of that 3/4 shift, thats how you shift a high hp turbo car on a stock tranny!

  • Done Right !!!!

  • ahhhh i remember when crx's were cool....highschool :)

  • ooohhh what a dick.

  • Thats cause you were in highschool in 1984 old balls. Go have a prune-shake.

  • flywheel & pressure plate!!!!!! needed desperately in your cr-x nice video though

  • wow! Si cluster in a crx! thats new

  • nice.. need a tyre balance?

  • IM FEELING THE SI GAUGES!

  • learn how to shift!!!!!!!!!!!!! upgrade Ur pressure plate & flywheel

  • I know that the entering in redzone shave miles from your engine =)

  • its fine when the cluster doesnt match the engine. the cluster is from a 2000 civic si ( b16 ) and he has a b18c engine ( gsr) the redline on a gsr bilt for boost is alot higher then the stock b16

  • 10 psi on gt35????

  • that shit moves good job on the build

  • B18C5 is the best tuner engine for swaps on the market by far, MY friend is building a dekl sol with this engine, gt35r turbo, greddy ic, injen CAI and hks bov all for under 10k

  • So, your buddy spent an extra $1500 or so and got a C5 to turbo it???? Sweet, he will have his injen cold air intake and a 10.8:1 compression ratio + boost! Please tell me he is not going to ruin a type r motor and boost the shit out of it with a gt35 on stock pistons.....

  • Ya the b18c5 is DEFF NOT A TURBO MOTOR, it runs different compressions and is meant to be ALL MOTOR... run ITB's on it not turbo, if you want turbo motors go LS/vtec of just the straight b18c1

  • j -spec B-16 A IS WHATS NEEDED HAD THAT IN MY 91 si cr-x its a good strong motor .

  • All of these motors were meant to be NA, whats your point? Stop your crying.

  • The point? that the LS runs the lowest compression of the 3 motors and then the gsr then the type r. SO that means the LS compression would be best suitable for boost then gsr then type r being last. can handle more boost and still have safe tune and not detonate the motor. I'm talking about blocks not heads.

  • Dude, I have owned 2 Type-R's (1 na, 1 boosted) and a GSR in my 26yrs on this earth, dont tell me what is more suitable to boost and what is not.

Most people that argue LS's rule are broke as shit running an ebay turbo kit they bought off their friend riding around redining on a basemap.

A C5 is definately boostable and will last just as long as any other stock block. (who really does that anymore anyway)

Its common practice to install headstuds when you boost, simply add a thickr gasket.

  • And no I'm not broke and I'm not running an ebay anything. I will show u my pics of the head i Just put together. Ported+ polished LS head, crower cams, supertech dual valvesprings, retainers, seats. Ferrea Valves. It makes more power than a type-r head... It's all the most expensive shit you can get.. then I'm putting new pistons and rings in block and going to run a ramhorn mani with a gt30. That's how you build...

  • Congrads you wasted $2000 into a junk head just to make it flow and perform similar to a stock VTEC Head!

Any person that can sit here and argue that an LS is a better example of a boosted Honda than a DOHC VTEC is a tool. Why are there no 9sec non-vtec setups? To be honest show me a full weight low 10sec setup and I will leave your dumb ass alone.

  • its not true,my boys white eg is making 800+whp and he just ran a 9.7 @ 158mph...

  • i get where ur coming from...but thats gotta be the stupidest shit i heard of...lol..

  • Ya some people don't understand you are not supposed to turbo the c5 because of the compression on the pistons.... If you want a head that flows just get the LS ported and new cams, or get a vtec head from the b18c1 and port that.

  • there is nothing wrong with a well tuned turbo system on a stock B18C5. It will still make over 300 at the wheels.

  • absolutely

  • Ya nothing wrong with it, but if your running anything higher than 300 its stupid. You will have to rebuild the motor and if your doing that you might as well have an LS/vtec. or ported LS. The only thing that makes c5 better is the cams which can be bought for 800 brand new. then think about compression. You do not want over 12:1 in high boost/throttle and its hard to run high boost and not go over that on a type-r because the pistons have a much higher compression ratio than the LS or GSR.

  • ITR Cams are $600 brand new, more wrong info

  • Anyone can own a car and spend money to make it fast but that never means they know how to build it or how it works. If you were going to build one you would run 9.0:1 pistons so you can handle way more boost, and the stock LS piston is closest to reaching that. With that said, the LS block is best for boost and the only thing that makes the Typer head better than the gsr head is the lift on the cams. it has different lifts allowing more air flow. Like i said, you have no idea

  • The LS block is a low reving non girdled POS designed for economy..... end of story

CR is easily changed with a thicker headgasket, argue your stupid point all you want.

  • Dude your a trip, your talking about "building motors" and arguing the "stock" LS pistons are lower CR so therefor the LS block is better, its ABSOLUTELY STUPID!!!!!!!

The beauty of building a motor is you have THE OPTION TO CHANGE THE COMPRESSION RATIO!!!!! THERFOR YOUR WHOLE ARGUMENT IS POINTLESS. WHY RUN A BLOCK WITH NO GIRDLE NOT DESIGNED TO REV OVER 7K ON A HEAD DESIGNED TO REV TO 9K OR 10K+.

  • Wrong again, the ITR Head has a completely different combustion chamber design, different rocker pad's and LMA's, different intake and exhaust runners that are at different angles and the ITR has been cleaned up in the factory to remove casting flash and also had some minor tweaks done.

    So.............

    HOW ARE THEY THE SAME??

  • the best combo would be a ls b18 with a block gaurd with ITR cams in a b16 head ported and polished well tuned with a t3t4 turbo will put down over 300whp with 10psi.... ported and polished will put down mid 300's.... sleeved with rods and pistons and skunk turbo cams will be closer to 450whp with about 20psi... Hands down the LSb18 is the one to turbo

  • Gawd do you ever stop?

A completely bone stock GSR from oil pan to intake manifold can put down high 300's low 400's with a .57 trim at 15psi.

Turbo Cams in a VTEC Head are junk, where do you get this stupid information?

  • I am talking about a stock ecu fuck face... with the use of 93octane fuel.you know put it together in your own garage kinda build.not everybody pays to have a car dyno tuned. Besides you just said what i already said. 450whp range with 20psi is just a lil more than low 400s at 15psi... think before you reply FUCK FACE. And where you get off on sayin turbo cams are junk with vtec blows my mind. you obviously know nothing about cam design. they have less overlap and more duration to

  • benefit the turbo... and more lift. The Ls will also have more torque than the gsr too... and it is available for much less money than a gsr or type R engine combo. to run more than 10psi on a completly stock engine from honda (non K serie)is just wishing to have the engine blow anyways...you need to build it to take the extra pressure created from the turbo.. they are designed to be high reving NA.. so the internals are very light weight and not up to holding up for long with higher boost.

  • The 89mm LS Crank will generally make 10-15 more tq than the 87.2mm GSR Crank, but at a downside of a lower rev limit.

If you need that extra few lbs of tq just stick the LS crank in the girdled GSR or ITR block with the LS Rods.

  • well that sounds good if you got the goodies to work with... but if you're looking to have fun on a buget(which is hard with performance) you work with what you can get for less.. to each their own man... I forgot to put that alot of this stuff is personal prefferance.. Stock vtec cams work best with a turbo...but if you are looking for a few extra ponies a turbo cam is what you would go with.. not no stage whatever for a Na setup... you just get full potential outa turbo cams..not much more.

  • I have personally studied over 300 dyno graphs from Jeff Evans's site, in the 1000's of cars he has tuned, each DOHC VTEC setup that had Turbo Cams lost considerable top end power, experienced slower spool and never carried the power high into the RPM Range, NA Cams on a Turbo VTEC Setup act just like NA Cams on an NA Setup, its mainly due to the effeciency of the engine. This fact does not hold true with ANY OTHER FORM OF AN ENGINE, just Turbo VTEC Honda's.

  • How can you go by psi? 10psi on a gt28rs and 10psi on a gt35 are two totally different things. psi means nothing dude, you need to do a little more research...

  • who are you talking to?? didnt you notice we are talking about a certain size turbo??

  • First I thought you were the other retard, my mistake.....but

Contact any man that tunes these cars for a living, NA Cams are what works best... not turbo cams. In an LS Turbo Cams are great, but not in a VTEC Head.

  • you obviously have a nice car and engine you are working with so I maybe missing some tricks of the trade... but my education from school tells me that NA cams have more overlap for more scavenging to help get more fresh air in for horsepower... whereas a turbo cam cuts down on overlap because you have boost to help push out the exaust and force in fresh air....and more duration on intake for the most air posible to intake.I like your videos man.now we are more on the same level happy v8hunting

  • Your education was correct, but one thing that your education probably didnt factor in is the amazing flow you get out of a VTEC head right out of the factory, the overlap is not an issue at all with these engines, and if it was a simple adjustment of the cam gears will fix it.

I made damn near 600whp on stock GSR Cams, I will gain an easy 50whp at the same boost with a switch to ITR NA Cams, and an additional 50-75whp on top of the ITR's if I went with the Skunk2 Pro-1 NA Cams.

  • well I do like the rev happiness of hondas man so if turbo cams screw that all up i wouldnt use them either...I sometimes forget that the school I went to has oldschool education techniques.. they teach about general single cam V-8s.. it was WYOTECH.. I would say they suck.. when we would ask questions about up to date technology of dual cams and variable valve lift and timing tech. they would change the subject.. not answer you or say we're talking about single cam v-8's here.

  • I love the wide range of tunability that dual cam engines have... unfortunetly I only was working with a D-series on my crx... but it was fun...how long has your engine stayed together with your setup man running 550+hp??mine held together for about 38k after the turbo install.. blew at around 169k on the clock... I want to work on my 2jz and read they hold 700hp all day long... but cant get an answer of about how many miles.. the only highly modded high power engines alot of friends had were

  • Engine has held up fine, dont really drive it much but I run it hard when I do drive it, my friends 2.0L went 20k miles or so at 600whp daily on E85 and was still fine but due to the large piston2wall clearance and an overall "looser" built engine its best he take it apart and check it out, my car is all torn down right now shooting for 800whp later this year or early next year with just cams and more boost, but I want to o-ring the deck to help seal 40psi more reliably.

  • cool... what kinda "build" did your friend have? did it have the original sleeves? crank? only rods and pistons? Why did you take yours appart? what is your build? Dude.. 800whp...damn!!on a front drive.. can it even hookup with that kinda power going less than 150mph?lol.

  • Both our motors are sleeved, always use the stock crank there is no crank better, it holds 1000+hp w/o issues

I need to upgrade wrist pins, mine wont survive 800hp/10000rpm

  • yeah i have heard a lot of good about honda cranks... the machine shop i dealt with when rebuilding my d series said that the cranks always mic. perfectly within specs. they are chromemoly right? anyways thanks for some of your input. what kinda pistons you guys like to use? and what rods too? I hear eagle really offers great products... but it could be eagle reps. tryin to promote their products.. I never got to abuse my h-beam rods from eagle.. i sold them.

  • The stock Honda Crank is what keeps the whole bottom end from flexing in high HP cars, I know its forged stock and heat treaked and should not be machined but alot people experience crank failures with aftermarket cranks and high hp/rpm, the OEM crank is a beast.

CP Pistons - Manley, Carillo, Crower Rods I personally dont like anything Eagle its made in China and finished in America.

  • i am sure you can guess... rednecks in love with v8's.. only two people I knew had 1st gen DSM's one with 500ish hp and the other 300ish hp. And you know those are strong... but no modded hondas, toyotas, nissans..... so just curious how a highly modded engine holds up to abuse.. I can tell you I beat the shit outta my honda engine.. I would race anybody and go to the track everyother weekend.. and on ramps to the highway were my excuse to get on it.

  • It seems your the only one who realizes the type-r pistons run much higher compression ratio than the LS pistons. These kids keep trying to argue that the c5 is the best motor to boost. It's the worst in my opinion. You could cam and port an LS and make more power and still be less expensive.

  • type 111 if you like beer

    Hello :) h3

  • HOLY SHIT dude how did you manage to get it to be that quick lol im about to trade my neon for a crx and i would shit my pants if i could get my REX like that :O what turbo was used here anyone know

  • Like it says in the title GT35r which means its a garret. Flows around 62 cfms per minute, its a beastly turbo.

  • oh wow thanks i didnt even see that in the discription hahah yea that does sound pretty beastly :) i was thinkin about HKS but im getting told there not as good as alot of others out there

  • look for a brand called rotary with pistons

they make the best turbos they are plastic and make 100 hp at -20 psi but every 100 miles you have to add 1 gallon on milk to the fuel tank to run the high octane bolt ons

  • lmao rotary with pistons xD should i look for muffler bearings while im at it ???

  • HKS turbos are good

but you need to look at flow maps and choose a rpm thats suited to your car things like the rpm range need to be considered

how much air you need to flow to make your desired power and at what psi e.g smaller turbos stop making any more boost up to a point

hks have high quality products and the gt series all are ball bearing turbos but they are expensive

  • no dude, get one of those milk gauges.

  • yea i should proably pick one of them up i gotta flush all the milk out i gotta remember to put 1/4 hawiian punch and 3/4 skim this time around

  • what the... damn only 10 psi..lol..lol.. now thats a great tuner..especially in a rex...nice..

  • It looks like he has an LS trans/gearing, so he would've moved better if he would've brake boosted since he was not in powerband.
