@McSchwejk I agree! I do have this great film on video in the original language with Dutch subtitles. I'm looking for the same on you tube. Or with English subtitles. But whatever, the Icelandic language, of which I don’t understand a world, is absolute necessary. It gives this film a very authentic feel.
Just watched it again for the second time and I have to say the story and the acting (especially Thord) is really good! If you can bear with the shitty audio it's definitely worth seeing, but see it in the original language with subtitles instead!
No it's not, it's just the English voice acting that's ruining it, for a small country as Iceland i think you have to give it the credit that this was one of our early movies, we never had any big ass studios to make movies, we had to learn it ourselves :P
@Sifjaspellir I think it is a great movie. I saw it many years ago, and was pleasantly surprised to find it here on YT. A lot better than the crap we get from the smart ass studios. Slick movies about drugs, cia agents, hookers and serial killers we have seen enough of that. I prefer this kind of movie any time....
It is better in Icelandic with English subtitles (if necessary)
