  • This is Genius

  • Now its all about Justin Bieber and crap like that these days

  • where the hell does the scottish come from ? i don't manage to understant the name

  • @camholly Dunfermline.

  • That would be so hard to speak only the middle of words.

  • Sounds suspiciously like Danish.

  • This is incredible.

  • There's bugger all around any more to even touch this stuff.

  • Clever ★★★★★

  • I was laughing my self to crying after ihn ith first line.

  • This reminds me of our next door neighbor when I was a kid. He came over and we were watching Monty Python. He said "Those guys are too much for me."

    :)

  • have you two met before?

    "nnn"

    "o"

  • Never Will I laugh this hard.

  • As soon as John Cleese walked in, I knew i'd end up confused...

  • Damn autocorrect

  • @silentcloud "built over hundreds of years" it's a 5000 year old culture. Just stop trying to sound smart ok....... Just stop. Lol

  • I'd love to see the scripts for this one.

  • John Cleese and Eric Idol are speaking in stereo lol

  • It is easy to understand why a person would think that these sound like Chinese words. Chinese words are monosyllabic and can sound extremely choppy if emphasized. All of the words in this video are also monosyllabic and without the proper knowledge of Chinese phonetics, I can understand from where the comment comes from.

@Silentclowd I find you using the Japanese language to argue a case for the Chinese language extremely disrespectful to both of these unique cultures. 日本語が中国語に似ているけどぜんぜん違うよ

  • @Helsethia1 there's nothing unique about either of them. You are only human.

  • There's Ohn Ith, Oh Ih and J Sm!

  • Can you imagine how hard it was to film this sketch? Brilliant!

  • Eric i cute:-) just sayin.

  • fucks sake sounds like chinese

  • @mrmagicroundcircle 私是寸分序取れ順月! >-(

  • @silentclowd ? wtf

  • @mrmagicroundcircle I find that highly offensive to people who actually speak chinese. Chinese is an elegant language, built over hundreds of years, with thousands of different sounds, and dozens of dialects! I'm just so tired of these racial stereotypes that chinese is no better than a couple of bumbling comedians saying random sounds formed of what just might be words!

    麦価と!

  • @silentclowd Sorry about the flippancy .

  • @mrmagicroundcircle It's alright...

(Actually, that was japanese XD, I just wanted to make a point)

    No hard feelings?

  • This sketch made such an impression I never forgot the ood ing. Bit haha now 40 years later here it is. Classic python. Totally nuts.

  • can you imagine the type of concentration it must have taken to pull this off???

  • 0:33 Morning hitler replica. ILY MP

  • I wish I could find this with better sound quality. It sounds like it would be amazing if I could hear it properly.

  • What about words with more than three syllables? What constitutes the beginning, middle and end part of a word?

    Great sketch of course :)

  • Cleese walks in like Mr Hilter

  • what a crock

  • has anyone noticed that they are all named john smith mr.ohn ith,mr.jo sm,and mr.oh i JOHN SMITH!

  • @Iamvillainous

Holy shit, that is like the most brilliantly hidden secret message that absolutely NO ONE but you was able to pick up! You're prodigal!

  • @Kevooi are you being serious or are you fucking with me cause its hard to detect sarcasm over the internet

  • @Iamvillainous

It was all coated in thick, slimy sarcasm. Now that I look back at it, I was very sharp-tongued about it.

    Sorry mate :C

  • @Kevooi its cool im just shocked that no one else commented about it so i just put it there

  • brilliant sketch!

  • This kind of amazing comedy takes skill.

  • all their names are John Smith

  • @alienolivia

As long as it doesn't turn out they're all a secret identity for the Doctor... WHOOPS! Wrong place...

  • @IamwhateverIwishtobe cause no one is as talented as these people anymore.

  • @IamwhateverIwishtobe

because intelligence is out of style.

  • @IamwhateverIwishtobe Two words: reality shows. Thats why

  • @IamwhateverIwishtobe

True pioneers only come around every now and then.

  • @IamwhateverIwishtobe it was : /

  • @IamwhateverIwishtobe comedy is funny now, this doesn't make since, at least not to me.

  • @LegoPatapon By, "Guy on the left" do you mean John Cleese?!?!?!

Watch the German skit from Fawlty Towers .....

  • I A JO SMI. - M HN TH. - OH MIT. And I am JOHN SMITH not a word smith.

  • ...the guy on the left looks like Hitler.

  • This is funny.

  • SPAM SPAAAAAAM WONDERFUL SPAAAAAAAAM

  • If it was lithuanian only thing in the end of swords would be AS and a

  • U-I-A - Aaaah, Dunfermline in Scotland. xD

  • Yes, brilliant! try DWI ITALIAN for a good laugh, too!

  • - - ant , Per - , -oo- XDDD

  • what a twisted bunch ...how fun would it have been to write this kinda stuff?

  • Ah, Monty Python, the pinnacle of all humor.

We will never see the likes of such originality again.

  • @CuriousCat1111 so true u.u

  • Why does hitler have a speech impediment?

  • was fun

    as un

  • Good grief! That sketch must have taken so much practice! It's bloody brilliant....

  • ood Ing!

  • This is THE stupidest sketch ever...brilliant!!

  • john smith lol

  • the ending is the best EVER.

  • This and the man who speaks only in anagrams sketch shows how insane the linguistic skills of whatever python wrote these two were.

  • 0:43 MINDFUCK

  • @halfNERD17 me retarded, you explain it to me

  • @Shklyarr all 3 men are assembled

  • Britons, correct me if I'm wrong, but John Cleese's character looks like Hitler. The three characters were all named 'John Smith'. Wasn't John Smith a code word for Hitler back in WWII?

Amazing what you can learn from watching Python sketches.

  • Try doing this at 'ome; not easy!

  • Goo-ood Ev-en-ing

    Rofl!

  • Notice that the guy on the left looks like Hitler?

  • Could the man who only speaks the middle of words say no?

  • @johnmartins Mmm o, mmm o. ols!

  • LMFAO! lol

  • John Cleese looks like Hitler.

  • how did they come up with this stuff ROFL

or those 3 colorful alien characters from sesame street

  • lways oved his ketch.

  • @4SecondChaos i ee ot ou id

  • Not only does he live in Essex but he only speaks the ends of words.

Notice what the ending of Essex is.

  • Brilliant sketch

(notice how I used only the beginnings, middles and ends of words to form that comment)

  • @rodin14rs lmao

  • @rodin14rs I dont see it

  • @rodin14rs and all at one time! brilliant!

  • OH I GET IT THEY'RE ASIANS...

    XD

  • I'm 15. I grew up with these guys. My dad grew up with these guys. <3 LOVE THEM.

  • This is brilliant, I wish the whole sketch was here.

  • Genius!

  • John clease looks like hitler

  • @rockindude30 it's just the moustache, really.

they could've called him Ad Hit just for the heck of it, tho.

  • where is the rest of this skit?!?!?! its hilarious!

  • WHY ISN'T THE MAN WHO SPEAKS ONLY THE MIDDLES OF WORDS IN BETWEEN THE TWO MEN, NEXT TO THE HOST?!?!!? IT'S KILLING ME!! AAAAAAAHHH

  • @nitix

because the man who speaks only the ends of words is introduced before him and it would have made no sense for him to sit on the third chair while there were only two guests. The man who speaks only the middles of words ist the most absurd and funniest of them and so he joines at last.

  • @nitix dude!! that man is JOHN CLEESE!! He's like the guru of Monty Python!!

  • @periesicsd laugh out loud-"guy on the left"

  • @nitix - Because then it would make sense :D

  • @nitix

COZ THEN HE'D BE SITTING ON TOP OF THE HOST!!!!

  • @RedheadDane

    Oh brilliant!

  • hahahahahaaaha Monty Python are Geniuses.

  • Combine their names, it's John Smith <3

  • Cleese character is such a creeper, lol

  • I wish Graham Champman's Flying Circus, did a parody of the sketch.

  • That must have been insanely hard to remember lines

  • I can't imagine how many takes they had to get this right.

  • @12Metaman I'm imagining it was one, since it's apparently live, but also guessing there was a rehearsal or few. They're just comic geniuses.

  • The first guy is fluent in Finnish ;D

  • I'm probably the only one watching this thinking "Oh my God, I live in Dunfermline in Scotland too!"

    ...

    fe ks or e!

    L s f m!

    if uc o e!

  • On Ith

    J Sm

    O It

    All three are John Smith

  • Don't all three have the name John Smith?!

  • Th.. i. gre..!!!

  • @Kokainuser Replying to people who deleted their comments is a sign of having no life at all.

  • bud-weis-er?

  • Only the Python guys could have come up with something like this.

    It is brilliant lunacy.

  • I'm Finnish but I still understand what they're saying, I must be a true Python fan then! Yay for me :3

  • @Rolfedol SUOMI SUOMI SUOMI

  • @UberMegaThing KOSKENKORVA PERKELE

  • @Rolfedol finnish FTW

  • @LoveyyMyij300 boo!

  • lo y me s er ord ice o et ou

  • i cant understand

  • hahah :)

  • I've never seen this before it's flippin brilliant!

  • i hate it when they dont put the full skit online...is it really that hard?

  • Today's sense of humor is good, but it needs a lot of sexual innuendo, racist remarks, or some form of "false hate" so to speak. The Pythons can be just as hilarious if not more without any of these. Seriously, the Pythons are to comedy as what Jimi Hendrix is to rock as what Arnold Schwarzenegger is to body building as what...oh, forget it. Needless to say, they are geniuses.

  • @taitai907

You have never watched Monty Python ANYTHING have you...rascism, and sexual innuendo are key pillars.
