Hahahahahaha.... No, if you believe the first verse in the bible, you are totally deluding and mystifying things. These and almost EVERY story in the bible are mesopotamian. Even the creation story. You do have to suspend rationalism and critical thinking to believe. Most are just enlightening stories< allegories, to believe them literally is to miss the point of the bible.

I didn't put it there because I believe once you accept Jesus, you will obey what he teaches which includes baptism, loving enemies and serving others. These are outward signs of a changed heart. If these aren't there, then change hasn't happened.

I didn't put "lead a good Christian life" because our works are filthy rags. We are suppose to live "holy" and "Godly" lives. Many believe that "leading a good life" will get them into heaven, we know it's not the case. Thanks for checking though.

In :20 - :22 Allow "You don't have to suspend reason" to pop up together - instead of "you don't have to" and then "suspend reason".  I think it flows better that way.

When I started to become a christian, these were my thoughts:

So why wouldn't that 2% that are left be also true?

So from that moment on I believed every word the Bible says, however, I think some stories must be read in a symbolic way.
