  • I do believe I have an erection.

  • What do you use your Chevelle for in the winter time...?

Melting snow on the road from the exhaust of course!

  • Comment removed

  • @curtspray no its a 496 i am the owners son it was a 454 but its a board and stroked motor so no its not a 396 its a 496 so if you do have ?s about the car or why its what it is ask and we can tell you or take your time to read other posts on this car to find out why its a 496 thank you and have a good day

  • judging by the slow decline in rpms ...you have a great exhaust and a normal v8. Good job reving a motor i give you an A+ on boring video lololol dang nice car overall

  • @Protour1968 not any more its got alot more work done to it now its up to 650 hp do to new upgrades

  • The sound of power

  • ahh sweet music to my ears, you can not love it man

  • well i found a new Get Rid Of Snow fast sceem :D look how fast the snow dissolves o.0

  • MMMMMMMM PSHHHHHH

  • to all of you saying how it shouldn't be on snow.. You hide your muscle cars in your garages and drive them once in every 5 months, THAT IS A WASTE OF CAR. If you buy cake, you don't keep it in the fridge indefinitely, YOU EAT IT. Same goes for cars, shit.. If i had a car like that i would drive it every day everywhere. And if i couldn't afford the gas and repairs, I'D SELL IT! SIMPLE! Babysitting a car is idiotic, no matter how awesome the car is

  • @VladBlok28 i was given a 1970 cutlass and i drive it rain sun and SNOW to school every day every where. just had to let you know there is some of us out there.

  • @82thetots respect bro.I took a look at your burnout vid, that is a very cool car

  • @VladBlok28 I disagree with you one hundred percent when it come to classic cars...rust is an absolute killer and it's because people kept those cars away from the rust conditions that they survive today. I have three cars and two have rust issues...the newer one never sees winter and rarely sees rain...someday someone is going to say, you never see that style of Mustang around any more and that one is in prime condition....I have an old truck I can drive every day, and it will be a rustbucket.

  • @Lochinvar111 i can understand what you mean, but... For one thing there's rust proofing. Also i don't think its rational, to keep a car hidden away for years just because of what someone is gonna say someday. You are paying the taxes, you still gotta keep it running, you "trapped" your money in this investment and you don't even get to drive it. Sure you can sell it someday for more, that is if something else doesnt happen to it (fire, theft, whatever) and the world doesnt run out of oil

  • @Lochinvar111 what i mean is - if you are a fan of muscle, either have the balls to live your dream and drive it every day, or don't. I don't respect half assed solutions like having 3 cars in a garage for show, and driving an old rustbucket truck :(

  • @VladBlok28 Actually the truck is yet to become a rustbucket...and I do drive my cars quite a bit...but I still won't let them get destroyed by salt and snow...respectfully, I will always disagree with you on this...always...

  • Nice horsepower. Its very hard to find a chevelle ss

  • @Steve120361 nah. aint hard. just gotta have two things: Lots of fuckin money and take days off to go and inspect them yourself. done.

  • FUCKIN' IDIOT!!!...I GOT A 72 THAT'S NEVER SEEN RAIN AND NEVER HEARD OF SNOW!!!...SMH!!!...NICE RIDE THO DUDE....

  • @rraasshheenn

Based on the fact that you used 'SMH' lingo, talking in all caps lock, and your name is Rasheen, I take it you're an ignorant, loud mouth nigger that probably ragged that 72 Chevelle.

  • @zendrovia u wish

  • sick ass car

  • all the laws out there, and none to put this ass in jail for letting a chevelle hit snow???? should be 25 to life!

  • People, people... stop wishing you could kill this guy for what you perceive as a huge act of disgrace. It's salt and snow together that love to munchy wunch on classic steel. Snow on its own is no more detrimental than rain, on account of it being, you know, a colder version of rain. There's really nothing wrong with taking a car out in the snow. You would take a car out in the rain wouldn't you? Well...

It's a car, not a kleenex. It probably won't melt because it got a little wet.

  • @rainfice0629 totally agree, clean white snow only comes prepackaged with fun, not salt

  • @chipeze I don't care what anyone says; snow+rear wheel drive=awesome.

  • @rainfice0629 words from the wise...

  • @tinaandtim99 mabey he changed the engine to a 496 and changed the name did ya think of that

  • @196237004 no i am the owners son it was an origanal 454 in that car we were driving it one day and found out that the prevuse builder had droped a valve spring keeper down the oil pick up and it locked up on us one day so we pulled it apart and wanted to go bigger the a 454 so it was board .030 over and stroked so now it is a 496

  • @cody69elcamino im the best speller so for all you English teachers sorry for that lol

  • @rainfice0629 Exactly man, I couldn't have said it better myself. People like this Lochinvar111 are complete hoseheads, and it saddens me that he has (or so he claims to have) such nice muscle cars and locks them away. It's a car people, you drive it. Small dents/scratches/rust spots/etc can be fixed. Keep them on the road folks, that's what they were built for!

  • How to melt snow with awesome

  • Fuckin sick car!

  • wow. a guy decides to drive his amazing car in anything other than midwest america, 84 degrees outside and no rain on the ground and he is fucking stupid and shouldnt own this car? its better then most peoples cars. and if it looks as good as it does he knows how to take care of it.

  • dont listen to any of these peeps, I have a 70 chevelle and she is in the snow as well, its not damaging her like ya all think it will, Their isnt any shame in getting the chevelle a little wet in the snow.

  • That's a shame. Get that car in a garage.

  • you are fucking stupid you should not own this car

  • fucking I WANT IT!

  • nice rev with good coldstart!

  • @humdidoadi Look at the ground where the exhaust is pointing and you can see that he has had it running for a while, all the snow is melted away even before he starts it. plus read the description.

  • damn nice man thats cool i got a 1972 ss 454 turbo jet and dude the thing is a beast and my buddy says that it aint shit haha cause its not a ford so we raced and he has a 1971 ford gran torino and i blew his damn doors offf lol and he has a 460 in it lol

  • mean soundin chevelle chevy power

  • Reading the highest rated comments I'd like to say that a car was born to drive not sit in a garage to be driven to a parking lot and its owner to sit next to all day. This looks like a fantastic car btw!

  • funny people that obviously know nothing about motors commenting on this telling the guy what they think his motor is :P im sure he fuckin knows u idiots bored n stroked 454

  • i no what you mean i didnt no you could bore it over that big otherwise i wouldnt have said that. So you also have custom pistons and connecting rods for more Cubic inches. i personally would trim the heads and have domed pistons for a higher compression ratio helps for higher horsepower a little bit better than boring over just my opinion

  • @jonathanbraun01 more than 10.5 to 1 compression and you can't run pump gas without water/methanol injection.

  • @70chevelle8 I have to challenge this, buddy runs his 69 nova 417 12.5-1 compression on Ethanol

  • @brakuktha by pump gas i meant gasoline less than 93 octane. Ethanol is alcohol not gasoline.

  • @70chevelle8 actually you can probably run 11.0 to 1 comp. on 93 octane, but around where i live 91 is about as high is they sell so 10.5 to 1 to be safe.

  • @70chevelle8 E 85 is pump Gas I meant to put that not just straight ethanol, Sorry

  • @brakuktha ok but that's not readily available everywhere... around here the closest gas station that sells it is 10 miles away so that's a 20 mile drive to get it so i really forget about it alot. I still wouldn't consider it gas... its only 15% gas. But i guess you're right.

  • like i said you caught me in a bad mood

  • @keith81081 okay well you do it on youtube so expect other people to get into a conversation. if not then send them a personal measage. normally im in a good mood, but you caught me in a bad mood and just made it worse with that comment the sounds like it came from a 6th grade girl. have a nice day you snob

  • he said he had it starded b 4 he went out

  • i think you mean 396 or 454

  • @jonathanbraun01 just to let you know i dont know if you know any thing about biulding and engine but it is a 496 its a 454 that has been board and stroked so the cubes are larger then a factory 454 if you dont belive me look it up and research it no big deal just a for your information

  • @jonathanbraun01 just to let you know i dont know if you know any thing about biulding and engine but it is a 496 its a 454 that has been board and stroked so the cubes are larger then a factory 454 if you dont belive me look it up and research it no big deal just a for your information

  • never cold rev!

  • @keith81081 why do you need snow im sure it would have no problem doin them on dry pavement haha

  • meh he put the money into the car, so let him do whatever he damn well pleases to with it.

  • If he wouldnt have shut it off when he did, the whole neighborhood would have warmed up.

  • OMGSH the exhaust melted the snow

  • sounds real nice fella, bet those back wheels were spinning in that snow =D

  • damb sweet car !Driving it in the snow isn't worth the chance of damage or the amout of time to clean it !

  • Jesus Christ you guys, it's a 40 year old car, it's not the first time it's seen snow.

  • was that a back fire I heard at the end or was it just me

  • Snow doesn't destroy cars....its when you put salt down, then it destroy the car...you can drive that baby through a damn blizzard...it won't phase it, but when you put salt down on the streets and stuff...then the game changes.

  • @CinCBamaboy yep hell ive been driving my 1970 ford station wagon lately in the rain no big deal

  • suck my white ass

  • Comment removed

  • @velandryxoxo shut up you little jew go back to the concetration camp where you belong bitch

  • very nice car. What kind of headers and exhaust do you have?

  • thats a really sweet looking car, do some burnouts and holeshots in the the summer man

  • hey if u need a warm place to store it, you can keep it in my garage lol

  • I just wish he would have let it idle lol, revs are nice but the idle is where its at on big block muscle ;-)

  • wow dude its winter why do that to the poor car?

  • @velandryxoxo your a little pussy that thing gots balls

  • balls that u dont have

  • @velandryxoxo shut up you little jew go back to the concetration camp where you belong bitch

  • gotta love the way the chevelle removed the ice with the exhaust!

  • cars are made to be driven, why build a car, and let it sit 6 months out of the year?, my nova will be my daily driver soon

  • wow your that bored to remark on a text made a month ago ahha you dick rider i got a 5.0 and a 70 chevelle 396 4 speed and my babies dont touch the snow or the rain you and whoever thinks pulling a chevelle out in the winter is not arguable are stupid, salt kicks up into that frame and settles then the car aint worth shit do your homework get a job instead of going thru 60,000 comments a day put that energy to something constructive!! ")

  • its a fucking car not a god. i would drive the shit out of it if that was my car.

  • thats it COME ON... borin

  • that's it :)

  • Wow, lots of stupid people on here, what makes everyone think the motor wasn't already warmed up? If he idled in and out of the garage the tires would never kick any salt onto the car, so no foul. Those sound like Flowmasters or Spin Tech mufflers not some crappy exhaust! It would be nice to hear it idle a little though.

  • wow i love how everyone bashes him for how he treats his own car whether t was fired up before or not it's his so bug off!

  • thats good for it starting it up and reeving it up with out letting it warm up. what a idiot

  • @buddy1574 buddy... its a muscle car i can bet that the car was warmed up before it came out since if u start it and put in reverse or any other gear shes going to die so its pretty obvious that the car was warmed up already when it was started outside for the video and it would be running really rought and choppy if it was cold u fucking idiot.

  • Wish you would have let it idle instead of reeming on it the entire time. Was curious how it sounded at idle.

  • fuckin idoit

  • why?

  • jesus christ people, he just parked it there to work on his car, im sure he didnt leave it there for weeks.....

  • Chevelle abuse.

  • he does not deserve that car...............his kids can wait

  • makes a damn good snow blower. very nice

  • poor chevelle shuldnt be in the snow!

  • cant you see!? he is clearing the snow just with the exhaust pipes...cuz thats how awesome it is!

  • @Smccuske i tottally agree with you

  • @Smccuske FUCK THE SNOW did you not see that thing melting the snow behind it lol HAWT

  • @Smccuske they ra chevelles like that everyday in the 70s

  • @Smccuske that beast can handle the snow ;p

  • @Smccuske all hes doing is cleaning the snow off the driveway with the beasts exhaust duhhhh

  • @Smccuske I drive my 39 Studebaker in the snow, it has a 455 buick crate. I believe cars where meant to be driven, now I am a gear head, so I understand your not wanting to drive a car in the winter like this, but what is the point in garaging a beautiful machine that wants to be driven? Now yes opinions are like asshole, everyone has one, but my opionion is yes everyone has one but they are always different, and my opinion is DRIVE THEM!

  • what a fucking idiot, dont worry theres no reason to leave comments to give this guy advice. the frame on that car is already rusting and fading away, the salt just deteriorates the body on the car in which if you even kiss someone elses car with that front end the frame with snap! ha what a waste of a classic car to somebody with no garage! :)

  • relax,he just pulled it out of the grage to work on his kids car...i highly doubt he's drivin it around!

  • @diplomatic4 hey you fucking idiot! before you start talking shit how about you read the exerpt under the video! he said he JUST PULLED IT OUT OF THE GARAGE TO WORK ON HIS KIDS CAR! his GARAGE! so he does have a garage and he does keep it inside.

  • wash the salt off, put in a dry and warm garage, wax it, hibernate till summer, then when its warm again, peel out of your driveway and throw the hammer down :)

  • Comment removed

  • right into the neighbors lawn!

  • spin the tires just dont sit there and rev it any body can do that

  • sounds nasty

  • tell the kid hell have to wait

  • that chevelle is really nice dude, drive it now and then. dont let it go to waste

  • what type of exhaust?

  • sounds like glass packs! oldschool stuff right there!! =]

  • pulled the car outta the garage to work on the kids car....HE DOESNT DRIVE IT IN WINTER

  • if i had that car..wish i did..anyway id put it way during winter. take it out in summers...i want that car!

  • it blows the snow away dude

  • He can drive it whenever he fucking wants, snows not going to destroy it, salt will.

  • Right, and a lot of towns that get snow will salt the roads to keep them from completely freezing over. If I had that car I wouldn't drive it in winter. To many people trip out and forget how to drive. Plus chances of getting hit increase greatly. Lets not forget it probably has a high HP big block. Not the best choice where you do not want to spin wheels and keep traction.

  • @portyMD Wrong!

  • cmon respect this beautiful dont drive it during winter

  • I just put in a 496 stroker in my 68 Chevelle. I love it. Beats the hell out of the 454 that was in there. I'm in Germany but I don't drive my shit in the winter. Just run it in the garage.

  • How does it hold up in the snow?

  • hey i live in saginaw michigan

  • cant idle very long.....They load up.....

  • what do yea mean? sorry if i sound like a dumb ass but yea

  • Wow you guys need to calm down. I live in the Upper Peninsula, Michigan and trust me I know alot about snow and I also love muscle cars and taking it out of the garage for a bit and parking it on the street in the snow wont do shit. Its the salt.

  • Ha ha very true, I live in iron river michigan.

  • Comment removed

  • cars like snow and rain.

    they thrive on it!!!

  • It's also not good to let a car sit all winter without driving or atleast starting it a few times. Snow doesn't affect a car, it's the salt that sits and fucks up body work.

    Awesome car! I'm extremely jealous.

  • That's how you clean the snow off the streets!

  • Comment removed

  • w/ rocker cam? Your just as stupid.

    BTW "roller cam"

  • i would never bring it out in that weather....

  • i would, the car is so hot that it would melt all that snow XD

  • haha, if you put it that way...

  • does that street have salt on it if it does your crazzy for bringing the car out in it

  • hey nice sexy chevy

  • man thats how a real cars supposed to sound like

  • blow that snow away!!

  • very nice sound from a sweet ride!!

sorry man have to say it dont like those fatty stripes

  • i love that sound

  • BOOM!!!

  • Well I think the point is that he's not really out driving it, he just needed the garage available for another project and was fuckin around while he had it out. I don't think it's a cold start either because it's idling pretty steady when he starts it and very few V8's will if they're dead cold.

  • and plus you can see the exhaust melted the snow

  • Person must be rich or crazy to take that thing in out in that weather.

  • I think he was just pulling in out of his garage to work on another car... it says in the description.

  • Takes a moron to rev a cold engine like that and in winter with that. What did you prove dude beside being a jerk?

  • As stated before.

It was pulled out of a heated garage and ran until it got up to 180 degrees. I keep the garage at 60 degrees all winter. I run the car every other week. During the winter.

  • @Als70ss the oil temperature is the most important factor. you cannot warm up the oil just by sitting in warm garage. otherwise, it's not anybody's car, so I don't know why people even bother. really nice car though, happy motoring!

  • @Als70ss excuse me

this really sounded like 2 assholes talking

    was funny

    no bad intentions ;-)

  • so absolutely beautiful! in europe we dont have these muscle cars! we only have plastic cars...

  • True, I miss domestics in Europe. But it's not all plastic cars.. cmon now, we do have a decent amount of very good car companies.

  • In Finland and Sweden you can see very good American cars ;) .

  • In Norway too :-)

  • thats one way to melt the snow :)

  • you are an idiot. you probably drive a toyota yaris.

  • Even the dude from Europe knows this car could kick your ass lol
