tis video was made by wimbledon oranization before 2001, wen FED was not player as e is today.....i recorded tis TOP 10 on a tape in 2001, te same plays......I've still ot tis video at ome, 9 years after recorded it.......
@federerbestclass SIMPLY LOSER sampras GS finals is 14-4 wins federer GS finals 16-7 wins sampras cursed agassi during their battle of GS 4-1 nadal cursed federer during their battle of GS 5-1 during sampras 12 years initial record breaking 17 GS champions during federer 16 GS record breaking only 4 other GS champion statistically sampras is the best tennis ever. GOAT = PETE SAMPRAS GLOATAN = ROGER FEDERER as a clue "n" stands for Nadal
Well Id prefer to be 16-16 in slam finals then 15-0, to be honest. Sampras indeed was 4-1 in GS finals against Agassi but he never beat Andre at the Australian or the French Opens, only at Wimbledon and the US which favored Pete. And it's 5-2 for Nadal, not 5-1 in slam finals, btw.
During those 12 years there might be 17 gs champions but that proves nothing - only that federer was more dominant and Sampras needed way more time to collect his trophies.
you say what you see, looking at the same stat I see Federer being a dominant player, Sampras wasnt good enough to dominate the rest of the field the way federer did thats why there have been some different champions. Lots of them being a 1-slam-shooter like chang, ivanisevic, muster, korda, krajicek, gomez, stich, moya.
Of course Sampras is a tennis legend, why deny that? But saying hes better than Federer when the swiss has all the answers is just blashphemy.
@89Pleasek And for the past 6 years Federer has had no competition what so ever other then Nadal. Federer is playing in a much weaker pool then what Sampras had to deal with. Federers main competition (aside from Rafa) are also 1 time slam winners or slamless players.
What about Hewitt, Roddick, Davydenko, Safin, Nalbandian, late Agassi, Henman, Coria, Ferrero, Djokovic, Del Potro, Murray, Soderling, Nadal? That's no competition?
Anyway, you got your opinion I got mine. Just one more thing. Name me 3 players from the Sampras era (1993-1997) who would trouble Federer in his very prime.
@cdnserbluvr Yeah,Gigi & Nata were simply an eye-candy for the tennis. They had their own vision on the court going on,not as much as a team, that lead to some crazy points(remember that missed smash) ,but also to big success.
ya, sorry lol, i meant to just say that it was created in 2005, that's why more recent great points are not included. Thanks for uploading the video :) we all enjoy it.

it means nothing ! ?
it means there are 17 hall of fame players during sampras 14GS title achievement
it means there are only 4 hall of fame circle players during federer 16GS title achievement
it means 13 extra potential nadal on sampras shoulders and ONLY 2 difference GS score !!!!
it means i dont know how old you are but when you do comment about reality facts you need to be careful
enough said ?
