One rumor includes that one of the vocalists killed his mother by stabbing her to death, and some of the members tried to kill one another while recording some of the screams were captured on the recording.

Seeing how that came from an interview from the band its self you can only assume these so called "Rumors" to be true. I have also heard people that really do worth with metal patients say that this sounds very real (the music that is), and yes i do know these people personally.

Apparently one of the members works or worked in a mental hospital and suggested 'scream therapy'. The vocals were recorded in an abandoned church while the instruments were recorded in an abandoned warehouse. The mental patients claimed it was the best therapy they've ever had. They re did the same with Gulag, but they used rape victims.
