This was out years ago..... if you played the first before 2nd... 1st wil be better by far.... sure far cry 2 got nice settings... but also far cry 2 got negros and malaria.... far cry 1 got awesome story and was the best game at its time.. (not now) by the

@kartikey76 To me it's not all about graphics . It's the overall gamplay and story. Tough the graphics aren't that great it's a very enjoyable game. Though it repeats itself a few times .

@joakim1995ftw Install in on a 32 bit os and then copy over the folder that Far Cry is in and then install the 64 bit patch and the 1.4 patch. Worked for me.

When I played this I killed the guy in the watchtower at the 2nd camp then the other mercs had to climb the hill to get to me so I just picked them off one by one.

@lewisner heh, I used stealth when I got to that part today. Picked off 3 guys off in a corner as they wandered out.

Too bad the alarm still rang soon after I went in the base. True stealth is so damn hard in this game, but surprisingly worth it.

@ahcidkdfj If you kill the guy in the watchtower you have time to climb up, grab his weapons and get back down before the mercs climb the hill.There's a large rock and you can pretty easily pick the mercs off so there are only a couple left when you get into the camp, then you help yourself to weapons in the hut. If you approach the guys on the beach through the sea you first have to take out the boat which has an RPG - tough but fun!

@lewisner lol I was tempted since there is SO many ways you can approach the base. The watch tower seems nice, the base seems great (for going rambo), the flanks looks adorable. So it was almost torture to see so many paths available.

I choose the rare choice though (since I like to be different from other gamers). I choose the left flank. Yea...you wouldn't have guessed that did you? hee hee. That's why I found the 3 guys wandering off in the back, so I payed them a "visit".
