No such things as ghosts, or Bigfoot, or UFOs -- I have often experienced a VIBE which is really an awareness that a person of historical importance stood "on this very spot" or that a thing of wonder or horror occurred here. But that comes from within. I've felt the vibe in Lincoln's tomb, at his home, at the Alamo, on the Wire Road and on Spirit Mound (no spirits BTW). People who are awed by a thing often feel this VIBE, but those who believe it is mystical or paranormal are mistaken.
Ive been to Shiloh many times. When I was there in May 08 I had a creepy experience. I was walking across the field toward the confederate burial site by Rhea springs when I got the feeling I was being watched. It creeped me out so much it gave me goosebumps. This feeling stayed with me all the way to the burial site and back to the car and then it went away. I went on to tour the battlefield and never had the feeling again. I didnt see any ghosts or anything but just had a really weird feeling
one thing to do is go there by yourself with a recorder i was there and it sounded like bullets going past me and i heard something mocking me and i heard footsteps going through the pond and it scared me cause it happened right in front of me which i grew balls saying to myself why am i scared they are probably just as scared
i got some recordings of it sounds like guns shooting and cannons firing when i was near the bloody pond its pretty interestiing

@Kpsivad Thanks for sharing that, I am certain there has to be some residual imprints left behind after such a bloody battle.

Forget the ghost nonsense and study the war. I never cease to be amazed at how gullible and irrational people can be.

@ZoneIII Thanks for your comment - and in fact I study both. "Nonsense" is of opinion. I'll base mine on what interests me.
