Mutig waren sie wirklich, sich von militärisch unausgebildeten NS Größen in den Gefechten kommandieren zu lassen. Wer mir nicht glaubt, der recherchiert mal nach den Verlust-Zahlen der SS in Gefechten.

Sepp was my cousin... Since I'm 16, I never met him. I just found out about it not too long ago from a professional ancestry search. My last name is Dietrich, too.
From what I have read about Sepp..he wasnt a Guderian or Rommel in a tactical sense yet his men greatly respected and fought hard for him (and they were elite men). He was tough as nails and courageous, going in with the troops simular to Rommel/France+Africa.
Imagine if all that energy of Germany from 1937 onwards was directed to peaceful means rather than mass slaughter. The Germans would most likely had landed on the moon in the late 1950's. Who knows maybe even Mars by the 1970's. What a waste.

@Trev1er02 Swden is infected with nazis and racism, most of it is undecover and many people who say they are not nazis infact are under the surface. They even got a nazi-parti voted in.

Great period footage of the LSSAH..At :50, the two officer's trying to "sneak" being awarded the Infanterie Sturm Abzeichen (IAB) are SS Oberturmfuhren Hans Scappini and Albert Frey. This footage was taken prior to LSSAH being sent east for the invasion of Yugoslavia in early Spring 1941. Dietrich's adj, SS Untersturmfuhrer Max Wunsche, can be seen behind Sepp telling his commander which soldiers are to be awarded the IAB.
