I am having this surgery this week. I am grateful for your patient explanation and video. It helps me to understand what will be happening to me. Thank you. ~ 41yo, Florida
I had the di vinci total hysterectomy 4 days ago and I feel wonderful. I came home one day after the surgery and I have not felt this good in years. I have almost totally stopped the pain meds. this procedure is remarkable. Technology has come full cycle to the point that a robot can perform such a sensitive procedure.My doctors hands are guided by God and my di vinci robot is programed by my doctor....its amazing!!!!
NO, i live in Detroit and my hysterectomy was performed by my caucasion doctor. Why is a doctors nationality a concern when they have the knowledge and expertise to perform the procedures? Its the experience that should be a concern.
@hkmonea it's not a problem that they're indian. it's just that every video i've seen seems to be done by one. as a matter of fact, i have the upmost respect for indian doctors, they all seem incredibly knowledgable.
@fastandeffective yes, they are very well trained. indian doctors are often the best out there. i just commented that because almost all surgical videos i see online seem to be done by indians.
@annachronistic this is happening to my mom on the 27... im pretty nervous. you live right? judging on if you answer back my question will be answered
thank you! I have epilepsy my fibroids are the size of golf balls and I go to the Dr. tomorrow to make a date for my surgery...no more kids for me... :-(
Dr Khetarpal you are burning tissues too much, up to carbonization!
This causes inflammation, pain, adhesions and even more pain!
Burn until it gets white, then stop and move a little bit to the left/right and burn again until it too gets white.
If you cannot, lower your voltage a little bit.

@hkmonea:
Well, these doctors in India would have completed the procedure faster, better and safer!
For only $5,000 all inclusive. You must have paid tens of thousands more.
The da Vinci robotic system is just fancy surgery for a lot of money.
Your doctor moves the da Vinci arms, they are NOT independant!
And God has nothing to do with it...
Surely the know how to impress people by markeing their product...
Us doctors who know stuff are not impressed though.

How was your recovery? Did your stomach stay boated? After my surgery my stomach got bigger.
Besos41 1 year ago
@Besos41 :
You probably eat too much.
Hysterectomy does NOT increase a person's stomach!

can they still have orgasm?
chanapan49 2 years ago 6

@chanapan49
depend on type of orgasm...uterine one - no...but this type of orgasm is the most strong.. clitoris type is weakened too

@Kortyez
Uterine orgasm?
Did you make that up?
There exist only two types of orgasm: clitoric external and clitoric vaginal-internal-G spot.
Of course, in order to experience orgasms a woman must use well her primary sexual organ: her brain!

@chanapan49 yes you can still have orgasm. I do even better than before.

@chanapan49 :
Yes, better orgasms are reported after a hysterectomy.
