  • GREAT videos, guys, both for the FR & RR brakes on the Murano!....I plan to do the brakes on someone's '03, will drive from NJ to Cape Cod before the end of 2011 to save this person a fortune, make a few bucks myself...$450+/- just for the fronts at the dealer! Ugh!....Good OEM-quality parts for FR and RR are well under $300, I'll do everything for that price.....Glad you showed the "internal parking brake shoes"....You guys just saved me around $25 for the Haynes manual I almost splurged on!

  • Thanks for posting! Great video. On my 2006 Murano, there are a couple clips that must be re-installed on the outside of both pads. Also, the pads I bought use clips and do not need the lubricant. Other than that, pretty much as shown above.

Also, it has about 94k miles and pulling the rotor off was no problem at all (no sticking). Would like to know what purpose that rubber plug thingy serves though.

Murano still squeals when backing up though :^(

  • @janebang83 The Rubber plug thing on the rotor is to allow adjustment of the Parking Brake. With the rubber plug out, you can line up the hole with the parking brake adjuster and make adjustments without taking the brakes completely apart.

  • Perfect..

  • cool,i did a 04 recently
