That's incorrect. Illidan was born with those eyes. And he was relatively powerful to begin with since he studied Highborn sorcery. Demon hunter ring any bell? He was then granted magic orbs in place of his eyes by Sargeras that allowed him to "see" magic. Apparently the eyes he was born with were there just to impress the ladies... After that he consumed the power of the Skull of Gul'dan which boosted his powah level over 9000. Nothing personal man... just learn your lore better.

illidan isnt the leader of the burning legion, he doesnt really have much control of it at all, there are 2 lieutenants and the true leader, the lieutenants are Kil'jaeden, the Deciever, and Archimonde, the Defiler, the true leader of the burning legion is Sargeras
illidan is just a general of kil'jaedens. he only has what control is givin to him by his superiors and since he failed to kill arthas he really has no place in the legion anymore so he had to flee to outlands and create an alliance of his own to try to save himself from the hands of archimonde and kil'jaeden.
lol yeah he is evil but in a way hes sort of innocent. he was corrupted so the demon inside of him isnt really him anymore much like arthas. he was just overwhelmed by jealousy of his brother being with tyrande that he got lost and the demons took over him and now he cant really be saved. its sad in a way i guess.
@zjd92 Yea, the Lich King king is neither Arthas or Ner'zul. The armor is imbued with Ner'zuls spirit, but it is frostmourne that controlls the LK. Which is why if you play wow now you know that there is a new LK (since someone need to controll the undead so they dont go on a rampage). But frostmourne is destroyed so now the undeads are infact controlled by Bolvar and Nerzul.

@TheIdiotNamedR0ppu read everything about illidan on wowwiki, it was a reward from demons that gave Illidan his burning eyes+those tattoos on his body, he was banished because he cast his soul aside for power(like I said, he really likes to have power..)
and wow. nvm whatever you said, that big ass Illidan looking was probably Kil'Jaeden, he didn't give power to Illidan nor opened a gate, he just told him to succeed this 2nd time in killing Ner'Zhul or he will "face his eternal wrath"

That's incorrect. Illidan was born with those eyes. And he was relatively powerful to begin with since he studied Highborn sorcery. Demon hunter ring any bell? He was then granted magic orbs in place of his eyes by Sargeras that allowed him to "see" magic. Apparently the eyes he was born with were there just to impress the ladies... After that he consumed the power of the Skull of Gul'dan which boosted his powah level over 9000. Nothing personal man... just learn your lore better.

he had normal eyes, but then sargeras gave him eyes to sense magic but didnt tell illidan it wuld cost him his sight. so yea, his natural born eyes were just normal and then he gave them up

illidan isnt the leader of the burning legion, he doesnt really have much control of it at all, there are 2 lieutenants and the true leader, the lieutenants are Kil'jaeden, the Deciever, and Archimonde, the Defiler, the true leader of the burning legion is Sargeras

illidan is just a general of kil'jaedens. he only has what control is givin to him by his superiors and since he failed to kill arthas he really has no place in the legion anymore so he had to flee to outlands and create an alliance of his own to try to save himself from the hands of archimonde and kil'jaeden.

lol yeah he is evil but in a way hes sort of innocent. he was corrupted so the demon inside of him isnt really him anymore much like arthas. he was just overwhelmed by jealousy of his brother being with tyrande that he got lost and the demons took over him and now he cant really be saved. its sad in a way i guess.

@zjd92 Yea, the Lich King king is neither Arthas or Ner'zul. The armor is imbued with Ner'zuls spirit, but it is frostmourne that controlls the LK. Which is why if you play wow now you know that there is a new LK (since someone need to controll the undead so they dont go on a rampage). But frostmourne is destroyed so now the undeads are infact controlled by Bolvar and Nerzul.
