I watched your video, which you used a thermoacustc stirling in your parabolic mirror. Which is more efficient, thermoacustc or beta (in power terms) ?
hiya pal i just signed up with youtube just so i could ask you about this prototype you have since the company sterling is not giving me any help perhaps you can. "where can i find about four of those engines? does your reflector have to be that size for each engine? does the reflector have to be that size period? and how exlcusive is it to sunlight?"
It's more along the line of, the more heat you put to it the more power it will have, so the sky's the limit, but I wouldn't put a reflector mirror any smaller than his. Of course the engine can only take so much.
Great work, man. For my high school thesis, I'm trying to make one of these solar-powered stirling engines. But we also want to find a way of converting the mechanical energy into electricity and then store it in a battery. Do you think it's possible?
This is so incredible, I love the sound of it, is there any chance you know of available blueprints or resources to learn how to make a similar beta type engine from? Or would you be willing to sell a set of blueprints?
add me to the list with jseunjen and ranyerrebrc as those in which that would like to recieve more info on where to get one or drawings on how to build one. thanks
1967Geezer, same as ranyerebrc, I would like to know where to buy the Stirling Engine with the parabolice solar collector or where to get drawings to build it. Thanks.
It would like to receive information on the price this equipment and where I can buy a fellow creature? Already it exists archetypes for generation of electricity in small transport as for houses.
Hi, may I know what is the diameter of the solar dish? Thank you.

I'd make a fan at home for myself.
Or a generator.

The engine won't autostart.

Will it autostart

I am very interesting in the proyect, I want to building something similar, I have a 1.8 diameter antena and i want to put there.
Where did u buy the stirling engine? or did u build it?
OscarioMB 3 years ago
I built it myself to my own design.

whats the power output?
thanks for posting this.

Don't know, to be honest. I'd love to know how to work it out if anybody can tell me.

It's certainly possible to charge a small battery.

I have seen very similar in Holland, very nice beta.

Wouldn't it make more power if the cool side of the cylinder was behind the solar collector?

1k rpm = no-load speed...
hook it to a generator and you'l get 5 watts? at 100 rpm...

muffle the sound and you got a real good free way to run your home.
