It seems to me that everyone thinks the main reason for aborting these fetuses is because the parents don't feel it deserves to live. Before you automatically assume people are thinking that, why don't you take a closer look at the person's financial situation

I am prochoice, however I support and fully understand aborting a disabled baby. and before you give me the whole "they are happy with life" Im disabled myself, so I have some insight. I dont consider a fetus a baby.

I think it's cruel to knowingly give birth to children who are complete burdens on our society. The world is tough enough as it is, I can't understand why someone would want to introduce that to the world, but hey, that's fine, just don't hold your hand out for support. It was your choice to have the kid, now support it for the rest of its life, because it won't support itself, that's for sure.

Personally I am pro choice... in certain circumstances... If the health of the mother is at stake and she cannot continue to carry this life.. then yes.. If the mother was raped.. Then yes.. But other then that. I cannot come up with a single reason... especially if the child is going to be born with downsyndrom.. omg who cares I myself cannot have children, and I would love a baby with downs. I would love any baby with a disability... doesn't make them any less human at all

Many people criticized Sarah Palin for not aborting her child with Downs Syndrome . Adolf Hitler had a similar view regarding birth defects . If anyone wonders if this is okay try asking a person with a birth defect if they would like to end it all . On the contrary most people with disabilities have a pretty good outlook on life . They have overcome much and can teach us much about living . Many people with Downs Syndrome lead independent productive lives .

Right, and there have been numerous incidences where the doctor has been wrong on a fetus having a disability, either way, anyone who allows the murder of someone who isn't perfect(and down syndrome babies are perfect in my eyes) is cold and heartless!
