This movie was on SPACE (Canada) last night. You know, despite the ridiculous plot, the movie was pretty fucking gory and scary. Tight editing, awesome cinematography, decent acting, good special effects, and great sound. Overall it's quite good, and that surprised me.

If you look at the imdb page you can see that this film was nominated for quite a few awards, and deservingly so - it's got all the ingredients for a classic "man vs animal" horror flick, without all the filler. Pure terror.

This is still one of my favorite horror movies. It has excellent cinematograhy, special effects and a really genuine  creepiness to it. Not to mention some great acting. The only real downfall of the film is in the last 15 minutes or so, as it seems to kind of fall apart. In the documentary of the DVD I have, they said they didn't want ot end the movie the way they did, but they had just ran out of time and money and had no other options. Still, a great old school horror flick :)

Was a great movie. About the best movie ever made about a killer pig. Very overlooked though which is a pity because it had some great moments in it. I think it was a grandchild that was killed by the razorback that got the old guy going.
