Actually the swastika was used much earler than the Tri-partite treaty. The swastika was used as a symbol of Aryan race by Germans as "Hakenkreutz" during the turn of 20th Century. The Nazis believed the Aryan-invasion theory, which claims that Aryans invaded India from Central Asia during ancient times. Thus they used this Indian symbol as a symbol for white supremency.
