Thema total verfehlt!!!!!

This is a magnificent piece. Nevertheless, your playing makes it seem somewhat dull in comparison to performances which realize the full potential of the composition.
You have much to learn regarding Baroque performance practices. Three stars.
It seems to me a very fine performance. In spite of all small mistakes, I´d say it is much, much better than others on YT. Of course, to be improved yet, but fine.
The piano register is very, very wrong.
Mr. "nofuture" - Italy is not a school, it is a country. I bet you teach at some private school in a "famous" village such Meana Sardo or who knows where. If not, please change job for childrens´ sake.
Bach music doesn't need you to add anything and especially for this piece that's already "romantic and really expressive" (don't add so many trills!) bach could write them wherever he wanted. You look young, I hope you'll find a teacher able to guide you on the wonderful music path..
Don't listen to this grouch. Great job! Since when is music of the baroque considered romantic and really expressive? Bach did not write out ornaments, only on rare occasions. If Bach had access to an electric action organ, we all know that he would love a faster tempo as well. After all, he was known for his brisk playing. Once again, great job!
WHAT? mechanic actin organ it's faster than every eletric organ my friend! And this is one of the most expressive and romantic organ piece that Bach wrote, if you can't hear it it's not my fault! bye bye
Italy. And one month ago I held a conference/seminar about bach's fugues interpretation on original bach's time instrument. Can I suggest you to try to play that piece on the Hildebrant organ (that Bach playied) in Naumburg? Or on the Trost-Orgel in the Schlosskirche in Altenburg? You would learn a lot of things about the speed (it's not a speed match!) You're plying Bach like if you were playing a Schumann Piano piece.. too fast and too slow..
You're on to something there. I have some experience with historic instruments, notably the 1742 Wagner of Nidaros Cathedral, although I know the ones you mention from recordings only. They're all truly magnificent organs.
However, the organ played here is a far cry from that, as you might be able to tell. In fact, it's considered one of the worst organs (or even -the- worst) of Bergen.
Perhaps my tempo is a little brisk at times. Indeed I do make mistakes. Please remember, this is an unedited concert recording made when I was 17 (by the way, I've reconsidered my ornamentation of the piece since then, with somewhat fewer trills. I agree that Bach -could- write trills wherever he wanted them, and indeed he did, but that's not the same as saying he always wrote out everything, as you seem to imply.
Absolutely terrible! is she your organ teacher? Go quickly to find a new one because this is not Bach! You change continously the speed, you make a lot of mistakes, you add notes not written.. you didn't understand the soul of what you're playing. In the school where I'm teaching my shool you would get a really bad mark (3/10)Try to listen Walcha esecution and stop adding anything.. It doen't need it belive me!!!
This is terrible

You are a beautiful man. Coincidentally, my postlude tomorrow at the church where I'm organist is the Grave section of this piece.

Hideous: sound, articulation, interpretation. Please study performance practices of Bach before you distroy his music. Painful to listen to!

Please don't blame my page turner for my playing.
I admire Walcha's interpretations.
May I ask where you teach?

Thanks! Yes, the little fugue is a very good piece as well. Perhaps I'll record it soon.

Absoltely Beautiful. Magnificent!
You should also post "The Little Fugue in G Minor" BWV 578. It's a delightful little fugue, the first I ever learned to play. =]
I look forward to hearing more from you!!
