Actually, almost none of them are. They learn the same sets of cadences over time by playing enough with one another. There's a lot of overlap in the groups, between Wrigley Field, Soldier Field, and anywhere around Michigan Ave.

They make you feel so hip and urban as you watch them beat on buckets on a downtown sidewalk.
BUT LISTEN UP TOURISTS AND NORTHSIDE SHEEPLE!!!
The boys beating on the buckets downtown are nothing less than criminals. While you stand there ADORING the little savages, the talented (and usually older among them), walk/stand among the watchers removing wallets from purses and pockets. It's a great scam. You toss them singles and coins and their friends take your wifes/friends/others wallets.
