Argh I had so much trouble with this mark, retired like 5-6 times before getting him, once he did that special attack he does when you use too much time but I had him staggered.

He killed me once with it though.

I put a Blessed Talisman on Sazh instead of the growth egg instead.

Since you mentioned Air Assault - if you use it, then hit the floating enemy with a combo, they will take a bit of fall damage when they drop. It really isn't that useful.. what it -should- have done, in my opinion, is allow you to move stationary enemies around.

HCBailly air juggling in radiant historia is pretty useful with aht with her ability that sends enemies in the air in a cross formation then if you attack a row it does the damage in the air then does an extra 100 or damage when they hit the ground its good for groups of weak enemies but the air assault ability not too much use for since its a single target...maybe if they were grouped first

Straying from FFXIII, I actually found Radiant Historia's Air juggling to be good for long combo-chains, specially if followed by another attack (preferably a powerful non-Assault one for that extra combo bonus), as said follow-up gets a small extra percentual damage to all launched up enemies once they hit the ground...

HCBailley: because of watching the earlier episodes, today I used about 5 mins of gaming time using each character and watching how they pull the "elelator" lever.

...Due to my observations, I conclude that everyone does it kinda weird (of course, Fang's the only one who uses her foot, but still...). Vanille's is the 2nd oddest, where she pulls it from the side with both hands and then makes a sort of pose, XD

I guess on Gran Pulse pulling levers was a way of showing one's individuality.

@slocrump i found mission 24 really good with a growth egg because it gives 12000 cp and it only takes me 9 secs to kill them i got max level in less than 3 days from 3 roles level 4 and every time u do it u always get a good item to sell which gives 6000 and the cieth stone is right next to the mark

@StanleyIRichards The Red signifies Haste, which speeds up the filling rate of the ATB bar. The blue is showing that it decreases at a normal rate. Everytime an attack is used, ATB is lost, then quickly refilled by Haste. THus the spammage of colors. Hope that helped. :]

Hey HCBaiily, I just noticed something about the names of some of the monsters. In my language, which is Romanian, Varcolaci is the plural form of "werewolf" and this guy from 09:00 , his name, Strigoi, is actually a popular term of "ghost". Can't say its a coincidence, judging by the fact that there was an enemy named Vampire, can you?

@vitotal9 The vast majority of Cei'th are named after rebels against the Romans, and considering how related Latin/Old Italian and Romanian are, I'm not surprised you're recognising them. Now me, with my classical education, actually recognised a bunch as their original tribes, but yeh. Vercingetorix (final mark) is from Gaul (old France) and united a group of tribes into an organised rebellion, and was pretty famous in his own right. Plutarch and Caesar's war memo's mention him a lot.

@slocrump Lot of people will tell you the Adamantoise is the best for it, killing it yields (with growth egg) 80,000 CP, and it's susceptible to Vanille's Death spell. First thing you have her do is summon to instantly take out both legs, then dismiss immediately and spam death, hoping it hits. You're only going to get about 2min max of attempts before it's back up and kills the party, so even with a few unsuccessful resets, you're still gaining the most CP per minute.

I'm working on maxing out my stats in those roles for now. When I decide to move on to the secondary roles again, I will let you guys know.

I like talking to all the cieth stones I come across so it's easier to find when I come back since it adds it to the list on your map and when you select it the camera goes to the where it is if you're on the map. Then you know it's the right cieth stone.

@MCalcapwn Honestly, I'm not a fan of the Tier 3 weapons, except maybe the Taming Pole. They just take way too long to farm the money to get. Plus, they make it much harder to 5-star some of the missions.

Hey HCB, in Radiant Historia launching is useful because the hit after it gets launched depending on how much dmg it does it takes fall dmg. (Especially useful if used with dead fencer.) also what is your favorite party in it?

@zarcyne1 I mostly used Stocke, Aht, and Marco. Max damage and access to all the movement skills.

Yeah, nothing tops traps and grid control. Marco gives you even more turn control and pretty strong buffs. You can do more damage if you swap him out for Gafka later in the game, but Aht is the the game's all-star for sure.

You're thinking of either the Lhusu Mines or the Henne mines. Since this mission is almost certainly a reference to the L70 Abysteel ambush, it has to be the Henne Mines. :)

You're thinking of the Lhusu Mines, which are accessed from the skycity of Bhujerba. The party guest would have to be Larsa, so maybe you're thinking of the early game. You can do some grinding there, but it's not a good spot compared to the best 3 options in the game (Golmore Skeleton Graveyard, Overlooking Eternity, and Pithead Junction C, in that order).

There is a post-game area in the Henne Mines (Pithead Junction C) where you are ambushed by bats, much like this mission
