Awesome acceleration in my book.Of course it's not gixxer type acceleration,but for MOST people it is sufficient.

I ride a Honda CB250 Nighthawk in town in Boston and will be renting a Suzuki SV650 in Arizona in January. Could you tell me how well the bike handles? Ride safe, bro! (Entschuldigen Sie bitte, mein deutsch ist ganz schwach: wie heisst es "Ride safe!" auf deutsch?)

I would say : drive carefully witch means : fahre vorsichtig .

Ride safe - sichere Fahrt (nobody would say "sichere Fahrt" )

My first impression was that the bike can go very easily . Like a smaller bike .

With the bike you will get along well ( google - translator hmmm ) ;-)

@YbYBwRbY the usual term here is "Allzeit gute Fahrt" which means something like "always have a safe ride" .

I ride a 2007 SV650S myself and it´s a great bike. Lots of torque, fast acceleration and a superb handling.

The bike is very handy.

I will never buy another one because it´s fast enough. And of course i like the sound of the v2.

The handlebar is a little uncomfortable on longer tours.
