  • Looks yummy.

  • I just LOVE sauce!!! Anyone here does to?? It's THE MOST lovely thing on earth, and it got a very special place deep deep in my heart <3

  • Great Sauce, tried it at home and loved it! keep the videos rolling!! Thanks from Alberta BBQ Guy.

  • I just made some... absolutely awesome to say the least!!

    Thanks Chef!

  • any substitute for the mollases ?

  • Thanks for sharing this. I will definitely try this very soon. Happy BBQing from the US - Southern Illinois

  • Picked up a few good tips here!

    Thanks!

  • such a fresh bread. i love fresh bread anyway; with BBQ sauce, with my love NUTELLA, with tomate sauce, with cheese, with anything it can't be bad if it's fresh and white. there is no possibility for that.

  • The only reason i watched this was because im drinking BBQ sauce out of a bottle, OH HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU BBQ

  • menudo potingue americano...

  • thanks, I live in México, this is a very good bbq sauce. I like so much.

  • nice video. what was that black sauce? where can i get it from?

  • gonna try it....thanks

  • Yer out in Etobicoke ways, correct?

  • @BBQTalk - Which is that black colored sauce which u put at 1:35 ?

  • @TheVilasraut >>> molasses

  • Mkay?

  • for making some smokey texture, use paprika powder

  • thanks for sharing, your food is amazing, i have a question...When you are in a competition, how important is the bbq sauce in the judges eyes?

  • what ketchup u use? can this be used for jerky marinade?

  • dude try putting some beer/other alcohol in your sauce its epic lol

  • You just got a new subscriber. You saved my summer. This is the first summer that I tried making my own sauce and I ended up screwing the batch by doing something wrong. Thanks.

  • Now I have to find otterel's comment.. sigh..

  • How about I also add some HP sauce?!

  • Would it be OK if I use brown sugar instead of Molasses ?

  • greatest video of the dozen ive watched! i was wondering.....i noticed that ketchup is the main base for bbq sauce, and i saw a video where tomatoes were cooked down with onions and puut through a seive....would that work for any bbq sauce?

  • have you ever tried using vodka in any of your bbq sauces it was on bbq pitboys and i actually made it it was really good.

  • Anybody know how long this BBQ Sauce will keep in the fridge please?

  • I make my own sauces too, and USUALLY, I don't like to accept that someone makes sauces as good as me, BUT, now I have to admit that one of my new sauces is actually a recipe I got from a friend.. Ha.. Thanks, man.. I really like this sauce, and I use it UN sparingly. I actually added a bit more molasses, just to say I didn't copy you entirely, and this is so awesome on ribs. They caramelize very nicely, and the flavor is outrageous. Great video, thanks.. How about a marinade for rib eye??

  • Great looking sauce! I make my own no-cook BBQ sauce (for amateurs) that could be a base sauce for the extrasi that you add. Slightly sweet and a hint of smoke. Hope you'll take a look. Thanks for a great video!

  • Hi man,

your video reciepes are very inspirative, do you have any idea to grill marrow bones?? in our country it is a very cheap and commonas well delicious ingredient... greeting from ostrava, czech republic

  • ¡Thanks for posting this, hello form México!

  • nice sauce but you should all type in youtube ANDREW'S WELL KNOWN BARBECUES, listen to the song and try to understand the story.... OMG! We are all meat!!

  • Man, you and me will be hanging out ALL SUMMER! You are my hero, man.

  • @scorpiotonerecords lol, thanks for watching!

  • This is a great sauce!!! I forgot the cinamon and didn't have mace or cumin but it still turned out great. To make a more Carolina style sauce would you add more vinegar? Howabout some liquid smoke in here as well?

  • @34muggsy34 Carolina Sauce is more vinegar and peppers, will do a video for you. Sure, add liquid smoke if u want to! Thanks for watching!

  • hi...

i try to make my own bbq sause....

how i get the smokey flavor???

    greets from germany

  • @dubroach Add a tablespoon of liquid smoke.

  • I don't cook often, but I'm wondering how I can get that charred almost burnt look and feel from a pit to whatever meat I'm bbq-ing. We have about half year winters here so I mostly cook it in the oven. Any tips on how I can get that same pit char in the oven? Thanks, and a video would be appreciated also. Thanks again for any tip.

  • very good recipe

  • That looks fantastic! Better then the store bought w/o preservatives, msg, and other mystery chemicals starting with an E in front of an number! Homemade is always best... thanks!

  • No garlic powder or oil??

  • thanks. I like using spices in my foods

  • nice nice nice

  • Excellent video, very simple and well explained.

    thanks for that.

  • can i do the same with fresh tomato juice?

    like in mixer tomato juice?

  • dios! se me antojo como se lo come!

  • @Itz3l "Gracias"

  • For a moment I thought one of the ingredients was "old spice" lol...I guess the way you pronounced it @ 2:10. Great video!

  • @dietoxic LOL! Thanks for watching.

  • @dietoxic its allspice not old

  • Being raised in the south, eastern NC bbq style sauce is what I've always made. Just stayed away from anything that had ketchup in the recipe. However this looked so good I gave it a try. It's a wonderful restaurant-style dipping bbq sauce as well, and a recipe that I come back to time and again. thanks for sharing it!

  • @theladybythesea You're very welcome!

  • Looks like a goooooooood sauce

  • hello from Demark. thank you.

    it looks very nice.

  • Is this a new Canadian comedy? This is like "Kids in the Hall" does bbq. I lived in the US for the last 10 years and got schooled on what REAL bbq sauce is. This is embarrassing.

  • @claytoons why don't you shows us then, words are useless

  • @claytoons alright then show us your "REAL", untill then shut up

  • @claytoons LOL there is no "Real" barbecue sauce, it is down to whatever flavour combinations you like best. For instance in the US alone there are at least 20 regional varieties of BBQ sauces and Glazes. Funnily enough I am thinking about doing some BBQ chicken tomorrow evening and, even though I am a fairly accomplished chef, am always looking for interesting tweaks, so if you wouldn't mind posting your BBQ sauce recipe and I will give it a try. This guy seems to know what he is talking about

  • Thank you is really good =o)...

  • BBQ from a Canadian... It just doesn't seem right.

  • que chucha dice?

  • @inperioazul I do

  • @inperioazul puras huevadas

  • puras wea

  • @inperioazul Dear Sir,Would you please be so kind and send me the list of ingredients for this sauce?

I dont understand all names of them. I am an Italian men.

    Thanks

    Dino Spinelli

  • @inperioazul

Dijo que si uno no tiene comino, no le hace. No importa, ovidalo. Pero yo digo, como puede quitar tanto de los partes del BBQ Sauce y decir que es bueno? Quien sabe, quizas no sabe como cocinar lo...

  • So where can you get Premium Brand Molasses

  • Dude! You sound like John Goodman!

This sauce looks really good though. I'm going to put it on everything. Haha, by the time I'm done I'll look like John Goodman

  • does this work on pork st louis ribs?

  • Im thinkin either brown sugar or the molassas, not both.

  • Sauce.

  • I made this and it is soooo good, I got a lot of compliments. Thank You :)

  • Awfully caloric O_O too much sugar in it...

No wonder how you americans get that fat over the years....

oh, ok. just kidding don't hit me ! :o

  • @GogoGoodGod .ca = Canadian?

  • whats the difference between "Premium" molasses and regular grocery store molasses?

  • Whos's suppose to eat that rubbish??

  • @otterel you!

  • @BBQTalk OH!!?.....it looks quite nice!.....:-))

  • lol, and i thought you said it'd be simple :P

I'll stick to my own recipe for now, although its not exactly BBQ sauce. Still a great video though.

  • I love your videos! I used this sauce at my bro's graduation party along with 60 lbs of pork. I will be using it again soon as well! This comment is for all of your BBQtalk.ca videos. Great job!

  • hey im new to 'bbqing" and i was wondering if its true that the more bbq sauce you use the more smoke and also is there anyway to have less smoke

  • ...if only he knew about the curry barbecue sauce :))))

  • i liked the recipe. too much sugar though. i like to add honey and if you want to make thinner add a nice lager to it. budweiser works well. or add stock.

  • hey man, can u send me the exact recipe?

  • @Greatnesskiss the recipe is posted in the description above.

  • I have no molasses either, I just substituted with honey. Good idea or bad?

  • @mathemagician1986 Sure, it will be fine

  • @BBQTalk it was indeed! nice recipe! I think I may try using fresh tomatoes next time though, instead of ketchup.

  • @mathemagician1986 molasses its what give it the smoke taste to the sauce so...

  • great stuff. thanks.

  • look delicious.

BTW in the video you say 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper and in description it says 1/2 teaspoon.

    cheers!

  • @crorens Whoops!!!! Thanks!

  • Molasses??? Never heard of it. Mace??? As in police mace? lol just kidding, but what is it?

  • Cant believe how many ingredients BBQ sauce takes. Surely they dont use this many ingredients when you order a chinese.

  • Made this last night, wonderful sauce. I added a full cup of brown sugar instead of 1/2. I found the cinnamon to be a little over powering, but, this sauce was delicious on the grilled chicken. A+

  • i want to know if this sauce taste exactly like the BBQ sauce from the store or is it different? and is this sauce sweet?

  • @hmgthao34 You cant get a sauce that tastes like this from the grocery store! Yes, it is sweet, but not overbearing. Remember, to cut sweet, we add heat!

  • Wow... at the end... when u say... delicious.... make me wanna try cook it by the way.. thanks for sharing the BBQ recipe. Greetings from mexico

  • Hey, I live in sweden, where molasses are somewhat hard to get by, at least for cooking purposes. Cheap, almost unetible versions used for animals (i'm not sure what it's used for but about 40 litres costs roughly 35 dollars). Anyways, can the molasses be replaced by syrup or something similar?

    Anyways, thanks for the recipe!

  • @mrmacko you could try corn syrup, a little at a time

  • @mrmacko Try dark brown sugar instead of molasses. A good variation of this sauce is: Leave out the cinnamon, leave out the mace, use apple cider vinegar, add double dark mushroom soy sauce, add finely ground habanero pepper.

You can also add a couple of shots of whiskey to the mix, or add a cup of grape juice concentrate, or add pineapple juice or coconut milk, depending on your mood.

    Be creative.

    Good video!

  • He should of put a table spoon of veg oil in then heated it and add 1 medium onion finely chopped then cooked for 10mins low until soft .Then he should of added 1tbs of minced garlic and 1tbs of ginger for another 5 mins then add the other ingredients and then blend it all up with a hand blender it makes that sauce 5x better and very tasteyer!!!!!!

  • is that your opinion based on the fact that you made the sauce, tried it as is, and then found that by adding those other 3 ingredients make it better?? im always looking to make my bbq better. i have used this sauce as is for months and would be willing to try something else
